Day 1: Arrival, Bangkok
Welcome to Bangkok, Thailand! On arrival in vibrant Bangkok, you will be welcomed by your private guide and escorted to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 2: Bangkok, City Discovery by Local Transport
Today, your guide will lead you on an in-depth discovery of Bangkok's key attractions by different public transport.
You will first ride the BTS Skytrain or MRT Subway to the Saphan Taksin station near Chao Phraya River, before hopping on a public boat along with the local people sailing towards Tha Thien pier. Disembark and walk for a few minutes to visit the iconic Grand Palace, a sprawling royal complex of varied sparkling buildings, including the sacred Wat Phra Kaew.
After lunch, step into the celebrated Wat Pho to admire the 45-meter-long gold-plated reclining Buddha. If you like, donate coins in the 108 bronze bowls placed in a long row to pray for good fortune. Round off the day with a tuk-tuk ride to a flower market for a true insight into local life. Finally, return to your hotel by BTS Skytrain or MRT Subway.

Day 3: Bangkok, Railway Market and Floating Market
Enjoy some leisure time this morning, either relaxing at the hotel or going outside for a little urban exploration. Around 12:30 pm, you will be collected from the hotel for a 1.5-hour transfer to the unique Maeklong Railway Market. Here, witness the incredible speed of vendors packing their stalls at the approach of a train and expanding again to cover the railway tracks. Proceed with a short drive to Amphawa, a perfect place to experience an authentic Thai floating market. As the locals do, take a long-tailed boat to shop for authentic Thai products and try delectable Thai dishes. When night falls, you can expect to see twinkling fireflies under the moonlit sky. After your visit, transfer back to your Bangkok hotel for the night.

Day 4: Bangkok - Chiang Mai
Travel onward by a brief flight to Chiang Mai, a laid-back getaway in northern Thailand.
Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Have a short break, and then pay a visit to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, located on the top of Suthep Mountain, which is not only an ancient temple but also a natural lookout for panoramic views of Chiang Mai.

Day 5: Chiang Mai, Elephant Encounter
Today, you will join the one-day Elephant's Day Care at Baan Chang Elephant Park. Around 8:30 - 9:00 am, be picked up by a shuttle bus from your hotel and arrive at the park 50 minutes later. After learning about the background, health care, and behavior of elephants, enjoy some time feeding, roaming, touching, bathing, and playing with them. Finally, meet some baby elephants in a nursery zone before returning to the city in the afternoon.

Day 6: Chiang Mai, Doi Inthanon National Park
Today, venture out on an excursion into the lush, mountainous Doi Inthanon National Park, roughly a 1.5-hour drive southwest of Chiang Mai. Rising between 400 and 2,565 meters, the park - nicknamed "the roof of Thailand" - is home to Doi Inthanon (the country's highest mountain), waterfalls, tribal villages, royal pagodas, and agricultural projects.
You will first take a gentle walk along Ang Ka Nature Trail, learning about the unique flora and spotting green-tailed sunbirds at the mountain's summit. Then, descend to visit a hill tribe village and a small Hmong market, admire the remarkable King and Queen Pagodas, and soak up the natural beauty of Wachiratharn Waterfall.
