Day 1: Arrival, Tokyo
Open your Japan tour in its neon-lit capital, Tokyo!
Meet your driver at the exit of your arrival hall and take a private vehicle to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to recover from jet lag or adventure slightly around your hotel.- Tokyo

Day 2: Traditional Tokyo: Shrine, Royal Garden, Market, and Temple
Discover traditional Japan at Meiji Shrine, a place to witness the commoner's reverence for their revolutionary monarch, who turned feudal Japan into one of the world's most advanced economies.
Later, stroll around the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, and then recharge yourselves by sampling some freshly cooked snacks or seafood at Tsukiji Outer Market.
In the afternoon, explore the thousand-year-old Senso-ji Temple, an incense-burning Buddhist temple devoted to the mercy goddess. Check out its symbolic Kaminarimon and the overfilled Nakamise Shopping Street.

Day 3: Tokyo - Kamakura, Historical Sites & Firework Festival
About 50 km south of Tokyo, the seaside town of Kamakura has been a popular summer retreat for Tokyoites since ancient times. Every year in July, the firework display on Yuigahama Beach draws tons of attention. Though smaller in scale than fireworks festivals in other cities, the broad ocean provides more open views and more splendid presentations.
Today, an hour's land journey will take us there to visit some celebrated historical sites in the city, like Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the Great Buddha (Kotoku-in), Hase Temple, and Hokokuji Temple, and more importantly, enjoy the firework display in the evening.

Day 4: Kamakura - Hakone
Move forward north and arrive in Owakudani after about two hours to start your exploration of Hakone, a scenic area boasting onsens (hot springs), spectacular views of Mount Fuji, and world-class museums.
Check out the geysers and taste black eggs boiled in sulfurous water, ride Hakone Ropeway for the panorama of the valley, visit Hakone Open AIR Museum, and cruise on Lake Ashi to capture the elegant view of Mt. Fuji.

Day 5: Hakone - Kyoto
Have a leisurely morning to take in more of the natural beauty of Hakone.
In the afternoon, board a Shinkansen for around 2.5 hours to Japan's cultural capital, Kyoto, home to over 1,600 temples and shrines.

Day 6: Time-honored Kyoto: Castle, Local Market, and Tea and Geisha
It's the day to take in the atmospheric air of Kyoto. Start from the Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine and walk beneath through its thousands of vermilion torii gates that winds up the mountain. In the afternoon, visit Tokugawa Ieyasu's residence, the Nijo Castle built following the establishment of the Edo Period (1603-1867). Then, highlight the day with a traditional Tea Ceremony in the historic Gion area. If you wish, change into a Kimono and record the special moment with your camera.

Day 7: Cooking Experience and Leisure Afternoon
Join a small group and indulge your love for Japanese cuisine with our 3-hour Bento Class in Kyoto.
Create popular dishes such as Gomaae Sesame Salad, Teriyaki Chicken, Egg Roll, Tempura, Sushi Roll, and Miso Soup. Delve into the cultural background of the iconic Japanese "Bento" and learn the secrets to crafting these exquisite dishes. Day 8: Return to Tokyo by Shinkansen
Have a flexible day as you wish. Visit nearby Nara and feed deer roaming in Nara Park or return to Tokyo earlier for more explorations.

Day 9: Leisure Day to See More of Tokyo at Your Space
Have a free day to discover more of Tokyo at your own pace. If you wish a leisurely walk, under hundreds of cherry trees, around the spacious Ueno Park in central Tokyo, complete with lakes, museums, shrines, and a zoo. Around 15 minutes' walk from the park, you can get to Akihabara, which stands out as an excellent location to experience maid pop culture. If you are a fan of Hayao Miyazaki, don't miss the Ghibli Museum.- B
