About This Trip
This Tanzania Northern Circuit Safari offers you the best chance to observe the diverse wildlife. You'll find the unique tree-climbing lions in the Lake Manyara National Park. Then, safari on the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, where you can spot the Big Five, abundant wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, hyenas, and various kinds of birds. The last stop of the trip is Ngorongoro Crater. You'll take in the outstanding view of the crater rim and meet critically endangered black rhinoceros.

Day 1: Arrival, Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport by your private driver and then be transferred to Arusha, the town in the foothills of Mount Meru. Check into your hotel, and the rest of the day is yours to relax at leisure in the town.

Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, an experienced safari guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby at 08:30 AM and drive to Lake Manyara National Park in a private 4X4 vehicle. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its green scenery, various species of birds, lions, and lionesses that climb to the tree and baboons. You will do a full-day game drive in this National Park. In the evening, drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park
Get up early today, drive directly to Serengeti National Park, bypassing Ngorongoro Crater. If weather permits, you will make a photo stop to take a panoramic picture of the 260 square kilometers Ngorongoro Crater.
Later, drive about 3 hours to Serengeti National Park. It is the largest and most famous park in East Africa, known for its ocean-like vast short grass plains, the migration of the wildebeests and zebras, and the Big Five. Gazelles, giraffes, hyenas, and different kinds of bird species are easily spotted as well.
Stay two nights in Serengeti National Park.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Today, you will do a full-day game drive, tracking lions, cheetahs, and even leopards that are on the move.
If you are interested, take an optional hot balloon safari over the vast plains (at extra costs). Overlooking the wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles from above would be a once-in-a-life experience.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Karatu
Today, wake up early to enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti. After lunch, you will be driven to Karatu, a quiet town near the Ngorongoro National Park for overnight.

Day 6: Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
Get up early in the morning, and you will be driven around 600 meters down from the rim to the bottom of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will go on a safari in the crater. It's home to the critically endangered black rhinoceros, and many big animals such as buffalos, elephants, lions, etc.
In the afternoon, you will be driven back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Today, you will be picked up from your hotel lobby to the airport to catch your departure flight.
