About This Trip
Follow this 13-day Southeast Asia tour to Halong Bay, Hanoi, Hoi An, Saigon, Kuala Lumpur, and Malacca. Your tour will begin in Vietnam with unmissable authentic experiences like the picturesque cruise along the Halong Bay, the traditional Water Puppet Performance, the interesting Vietnamese cooking lesson, the Mekong Delta exploration, etc. Next, fly to Malaysia, from where you will visit Kuala Lumpur's landmark of Petronas Twin Towers, get to know the ancient landmarks and colonial structures in Malacca by visiting the Dutch Administration office, Jonker Street, and so on.

Day 1: International Arrival, Hanoi
On arrival at the Hanoi airport, you will be met by a personal guide who will escort you to the hotel for check-in. Feel free to relax after your long flight or explore a bit on your own.

Day 2: Hanoi Sightseeing
Prepare for a busy day ahead as Hanoi is a city spoiled with wonders. After breakfast, your first stop will be the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh. Following this, you will visit the Presidential Palace, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and Quan Thanh Temple. After lunch, your next destination is the Ethnologic Museum, followed by a visit to the Old Quarter by cycle or rickshaw. While en route, stop over at one of the major scenic spots in the city-the Hoan Kiem Lake located in the historical center of Hanoi, where you can enjoy the Vietnamese traditional staged water event-the water puppet show. You will then be free to relax in the evening.
Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Fridays and Mondays, and most museums are closed on Mondays.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay
You will spend one day and a half at the enchanting Halong Bay, where you will have a lovely time there on a cruise ship. After breakfast, drive three hours from Hanoi to Halong Bay. During the cruise, you will take in the ethereal beauty of the turquoise ocean, thick forests, hidden coves and traditional sampans with thousands of limestone islands scattered across the sea. You can also enjoy numerous thrilling activities there.

Day 4: Halong Bay - Da Nang - Hoi An
This morning, you will continue to soak up the breath-taking beauty of the lovely paradise, where you can have a delicious brunch before disembarking at around 10 a.m. You will then be met by your guide and driver and sent to Hai Phong airport (around 1.5 hours) for the afternoon flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel in Hoi An for check-in. You will be free for the rest of the day.

Day 5: Hoi An Sightseeing
The mysterious My Son-Holy Land will provide your morning visit. Set in jungles, it is an important remain of the ancient kingdom of Champa and also a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch, return to Hoi An for visits to the symbolic Japanese Bridge, the renowned Chinese Temple, and the Vietnamese former merchant's house, once merchants' meeting venue. This evening is for you to further explore this vibrant city.

This morning, transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, your guide will escort you to your hotel. You will then enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City Sightseeing
The vast, subterranean Cu Chi Tunnels dug out by Viet Cong forces during the Indochina Wars serves as your first stop today, before returning to Ho Chi Minh City, where you will visit the ancient War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), the Ben Thanh Market, the Old Saigon Post Office and the bustling Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat).

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, drive to Mekong Delta (My Tho) and spend one day there. You can walk around the villages and the markets in the area. Then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Kuala Lumpur
Take a break before driving to the airport for your flight to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. Upon arrival, your local guide will greet you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. You will then spend the rest of the day on your own.

Day 11: Kuala Lumpur City Discovery
The highlights of today consists of the King's Palace, the official residence of the head of Malaysia, the National Monument boasting the world's tallest bronze freestanding sculpture grouping, the National Museum, the Independence Square to feel the track of Malaysian history while taking a stroll around the area, and the Moorish-style railway station. You can also pose for pictures in front of the Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world, a landmark of Kuala Lumpur and a must-see stop for visitors. You will then have lunch at a local restaurant before spending time on your own in the afternoon.

Day 12: Kuala Lumpur - Malacca - Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast, take a two-hour drive to Malacca famous for its wealth of homegrown galleries, crimson colonial buildings, and showy trishaws. Later, you will visit the Dutch Administration office to embrace an ancient Malacca, the St Peter's Church, known as the oldest Roman Catholic Church that opens to the public in Malaysia, and the ruins of St Paul's Church, the Porta De Santiago regarded as a major historical landmark and probably the most photographed structure in Malacca, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple which serves as Malaysia's oldest traditional Chinese temple, and the Jonker Street, with shops selling various antiques, textiles, foods, and handicrafts. Later in the day, return to Kuala Lumpur.
