Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City
Welcome to bustling Ho Chi Minh City, the largest metropolis of Vietnam! On arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and personal guide who will escort you to the hotel to check in. The rest of the day will then be free to relax or explore at your own leisure.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho
This morning, drive to My Tho and take a boat cruise on the tranquil Tien River before strolling around the busy My Tho Fish Market and exploring the peaceful Four Islands. Then, ride through rural villages by cart on your way to Mr. Muoi Hai's House, where you can sample cups of authentic honey tea and fresh seasonal fruit. You can also experience rowing a sampan boat along the canals of the Mekong River - quite an experience! In the afternoon, you will be driven to the city of Can Tho, where you will stay overnight.

Day 3: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap
Cruising along the endless waterways of the mighty Mekong River will be the highlight of your day. During the journey, you will stop over at the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta, Cai Rang Floating Market, which is open all day and offers an abundance of agricultural products and local specialties, before returning to Ho Chi Minh City and departing for your flight to Siem Reap in neighboring Cambodia. On arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel to check in and the rest of the day is free to explore further or relax.

Day 4: Siem Reap
After breakfast, explore the impressive Angkor Thom temple complex where you will take a memorable walk to the South Gate, the Bayon Temple, and the Elephant Terrace. After lunch, pay a visit to the world's largest religious monument, Angkor Wat. With its magnificent architecture and intricate reliefs, the central structure is the best-preserved building among all of those at Angkor Wat. Following this ascend Bakheng Hill (Bakheng Temple) to appreciate the beauty of the sunset over the sprawling ancient complex. In the evening, you will marvel at the spectacular Apsara Dinner Show, which covers the four genres of Khmer's traditional dance performed by Cambodian women, making a perfect end to a pleasant day.

Day 5: Siem Reap
If you are an early riser, you will be amazed at the breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat. On the way to the ancient Banteay Srei Temple, you will pass through a few local villages. After lunch, head to Ta Prohm Temple, known as the ''Tree Temple'' due to the massive roots that have grown up around it over the centuries. This is followed by a visit to the Ta Keo Temple-five sanctuary towers arranged in a quincunx built on the uppermost level of the five-tier pyramid.

Day 6: Siem Reap - Luang Prabang
After breakfast, embark on a visit to the indigenous Khmer Village, where you can get an insight into the authentic local life and the traditional ethnic culture, followed by a visit by boat to the famous Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, by boat. Then, fly to Luang Prabang in the landlocked nation of Laos and head to your hotel for check-in. Later in the day, you will climb to the summit of Mount Phousi, where you can appreciate a beautiful view of the bustling city below and the magnificent Mekong River at sunset. In the evening, you will be free to chat with locals from hill tribes at the night market.

Day 7: Luang Prabang
If you are an early bird, you can watch the sacred Alms Giving Ceremony at dawn as an optional start to the day. Later, discover Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visoun and the Royal Palace Museum. You will then continue your excursion towards the beautiful Khouang Si Waterfall, where you can refresh in the turquoise pools or take a stroll along the forest paths, followed by a lovely picnic lunch nearby before returning to your hotel.

Day 8: Luang Prabang
We will start today with an upstream cruise along the famous Mekong River, then stop over at the Pak Ou Caves which are crammed with a myriad of Buddha images before visiting the villages of Ban Xanghai and Ban Xang Khong to experience the rapid development of this region. Later, return to the city of Luang Prabang and spend the rest of the day at your own pace.

Day 10: Hanoi Sightseeing
The highlights of the day will include a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex (closed on Mondays and Fridays), the majestic Presidential Palace; Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts-still preserved as the famous leader would have known it; the iconic One Pillar Pagoda; the historic Tran Quoc Pagoda and the sacred Quan Thanh Temple.
Your afternoon trip starts with the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which boasts a fine collection of artwork and ethnic cultural treasures, then you will proceed to the historic Old Quarter by bike or rickshaw and the tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake, where you will marvel at the charming water puppet show, a traditional event performed in waist-deep water. This will be followed by a special Vietnamese dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 11: Hanoi - Halong Bay
This morning, a 3.5-hour drive brings you to the pristine Halong Bay for a memorable cruise. Not only will you enjoy the scenery which has inspired so much poetry and art, but also the mystery and grandeur of the natural environment here. The brilliant blue sea, crystal clear water and the clusters of domineering pinnacles in various shapes, all of which present an astounding panorama. Day 12: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue
Continue to enjoy the traditional sampan boats, unique grottoes, thick forests and hidden coves of the unique maritime paradise of Halong Bay. After this, enjoy a filling brunch before disembarking. Your guide and driver will then be waiting for you at the pier and will escort you to the airport for your flight to the imperial city of Hue. As soon as you arrive, you will be escorted to the hotel and after checking in, the rest of the day can be spent at your leisure.

Start your morning trip from the majestic Tomb of King Minh Mang, before sailing the picturesque Perfume River by royal dragon boat towards one of the oldest and most sacred buildings in the country, the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda. Later on, visit the Imperial Citadel, known for its cobbled paths and then the Forbidden Purple City. Built at the beginning of the 18th Century, the Forbidden City is the largest remaining ancient architectural complex in Vietnam. You will then wander through the bustling Dong Ba Market which has served as a hub of local life for generations.

Day 14: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An
You will be driven to Hoi An via the port city of Da Nang. This area of Vietnam is dominated by the impressive Hai Van Pass. From here, you will be spoiled by amazing views of the long Vietnam coastline, the sea and the bustling cities of Da Nang and Hue below.
On your arrival in Da Nang, unwind at the pristine Non Nuoc Beach known for its perfect, soft, white sand. Visit the Cham Museum which houses the largest collection of Champa civilization artifacts in Vietnam followed by a trip to the Marble Mountains, a popular pilgrimage site which features caves, tunnels, and temples among its limestone peaks. After this, you will be driven to the city of Hoi An, where you will stay overnight.

Day 15: Hoi An
This morning, you will go on a memorable eco-tour. First, you will be taken to a fishing village where you will embark on the eco-tour boat, specially designed to promote environmentalism, which will tour the Cua Dai River. You will gain a direct experience of traditional livelihoods, with guidance from local fishermen and then paddle a private Vietnamese bamboo basket boat. In the afternoon, you'll get an authentic taste of this fascinating town on a trip to the landmark Japanese Bridge, invoking Zen spirituality; the ornate Chinese Temple; and the former Vietnamese Merchant's House. Your informed guide will provide you with all the historical context on these sites.

Day 16: Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, drive to Da Nang airport and fly to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, Vietnam bustling main metropolis. You will then visit a series of important landmarks including Binh Tay Market, War Remnants Museum, Tan Dinh Church, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel and the Opera House. You will be pleased to hear these sites are all within walking distance of your hotel so feel free to explore them at your own pace. You can then opt to relax or explore further at your leisure.
