Day 1: Arrival, Yangon
Welcome to Myanmar! After arriving in Yangon and checking into your hotel, get ready to immerse into your Myanmar holiday. Your first destination is the Sule Pagoda, as the landmark of Yangon, which has a history of over 2,000 years. Later, proceed to the Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda (Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple) where you will be shocked by a 65-meter-long Buddha lying on the ground. Next, you will go to Kandawgyi Lake. In the afternoon, you will pay a visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda, the holy land of Buddhism in Myanmar located on the highest point of Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon - Bago - Golden Rock
This morning, you will spend 1.5 hours heading to Bago. Upon arrival, walk through a local market at first, and then pay a visit to the Shwethalyaung Buddha, where you can see a reclining Buddha again. Later, continue to visit the Shwemawdaw Pagoda and the Kyaik Pun Pagoda.
After lunch, it will take approximately 3.5 hours to get to Kimpun Village by car. In the end, proceed to the Kyaithiyo Pagoda which is also known as the Golden Rock Pagoda.

Day 3: Golden Rock - Yangon
Take photos with the Golden Rock from different angles at dawn and then go back to Yangon by car (about 5.5 hours). On the way back, make a side trip to the Taukkyan War Cemetery where is in honor of about 6,000 English soldiers died in the Second World War. After arriving in Yangon, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: Yangon - Heho - Pindaya
After breakfast, fly to Heho at first and then spend 1 hour driving to Pindaya. Upon arrival, pay a visit to the Pindaya Caves. This cave is a Buddhist pilgrimage site where 8,000 Buddhist images have been consecrated for worship over the centuries. Later, you will have a glimpse of the process of Shan traditional paper making nearby.

Day 5: Pindaya - Kalaw
Today, you will set foot on the road to Kalaw at first, and then proceed to the Magwe Elephant Camp which is located in Green Hill Valley. As the paradise of elephants, you can closely observe elephants (bath them in the river or feed them) and know more about their living habits. Later, you can continue to explore this conservation area, including observing various butterflies, birds and orchids.
Finally, enjoy a spectacular view of the valley and then drive back to the hotel. Have a good rest tonight, because your 3-day trekking will start tomorrow.
Optional: In the Magwe Elephant Camp, planting regional trees is an optional activity recommended for you.

Day 6: Kalaw
Today, you will spend 3 days in the delightful trekking areas from Kalaw to Inle Lake. At first, you will set foot on the road to Lu Pin Village which is belonging to the Danu tribe. Later, you will walk toward Shar Pin Village and Pann Lone Pagoda Hill. After taking a break and having a picnic, continue your trekking to Linn Pan Village where the Pa O minority inhabits. Next, proceed to Nant Thale The Village and you will pay a visit to the Thein Taung Pagoda Monastery, the Aung Chan Tha Pagoda, the Sutaungpyae Pagoda and the King Church.
This evening, you will live with monks or a local family. Kindly note that accommodation in the mountain is very simple with basic amenity.

Day 7: Kalaw
Today is the second trekking day. On the way to Htun Gone Village, you will make a side trip to visit several villages and old wooden monasteries. After a short break at Htun Gone Village, spend 3.5 hours on skipping through farmland and rambling through the hill. After arriving at Htee Taing Village, pay a visit to the Htee Taing Monastery which is also used as a school.
Tonight, continue to have a dinner and live with monks or a local family.

Day 8: Inle Lake
Getting to Inle Lake from here takes about 3 hours of hiking. On the way, you will pass some different Pa O villages until arriving at Than Taung Village. After taking a break here and having a lunch at a monastery, you will come to the lakeside and transfer to the hotel by motorboat. On the way, you will visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, located in the west end of Inle Lake, which is the most highly revered monastery housing five ancient golden Buddhist images. Finally, pay a visit to cheroot factory to explore local crafts and classic Myanmar cigars.

Day 9: Inle Lake
In the morning, you will take a boat to Indein Village which is a small village near the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. The village is famous for a Buddha image which is enshrined at a whitewashed stupa.
In the afternoon, continue your trip to explore a boat-making factory, local blacksmiths workshops and some incredible floating gardens in this village.

Day 10: Inle Lake - Heho - Mandalay
In the morning, move to Nyaung Shawe Jetty by boat at first, and then be transferred to Heho for a flight to Mandalay.
Upon arrival, your first destination is the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is termed as the world's largest book. Next, you will pay a visit to the Shwenandaw Monastery and the Golden Palace Monastery. Finally, you will arrive at Mandalay Hill which is located in the northeast of the city. Standing on the top of this hill, you can have an unobstructed view to the south of the city.

Day 11: Mandalay
Today, pay a visit to Amarapura, which is a former capital and now a part of Mandalay. Your first destination is the Mahagandayon Monastery which is the largest Buddhist monastery in Myanmar accommodating more than 1,000 young monks. Later, you will head for Inwa to visit the old wooden Bagaya Monastery, the Maha Aung Mye Bonzan Monastery and the Htihlaing Shin Paya Pagoda.
In the afternoon, cross the bridge upon the Irrawaddy River and then climb up the top of Sagaing Hill for overlooking the whole city. Finally, you will stand on U Bein Bridge to watch villagers and monks who come and go in the setting sun.

Day 12: Mandalay - Bagan
This morning you will visit the Mahamuni Buddha Temple. It is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Myanmar and houses the Mahamuni Buddha image. In the afternoon, proceed to the Mandalay Palace and Fort, totally rebuilt on the original site, which has been completely destroyed during World War II.
Finally, you will take your flight to Bagan. After checking into your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 13: Bagan
After breakfast enjoy a walk through Nyaung Oo Market for some souvenir shopping. Later, continue to visit the Shwezigon Pagoda with an exceptionally huge gold-plated pagoda glimmering in the sun. Next, you will go to visit the Htilominlo Temple, the Thatbyinnyu Temple and the Ananda Temple.
This afternoon, pay a visit to lacquer-ware workshop, the Manuha Temple, the Nanpaya Temple, the Gubyaukgyi Temple and the Dhammayangyi Temple. Significantly, a large array of well-preserved frescoes is contained on the interior walls of the Gubyaukgyi Temple and the Dhammayangyi Temple.

Day 14: Bagan
Today is a free day to enjoy at your leisure. Explore the old temple, stroll into the local market or have a rest in the hotel.

Day 15: Bagan - Yangon
This morning, firstly you will visit Minnanthu Village which is specializing in the production of sesame and peanut oil. Next, continue to visit the Payathonzu Temple, the Lemyentha Temple and the Nandamannya Pahto Temple and the Nandamannya Cave Grotto.
In the afternoon, you will take the flight back to Yangon.
Optional: Ride a hot air balloon to have a bird's eye view of the world-famous archaeological site of Bagan's ancient kingdom on the plain in the morning at your own expense. It is a seasonal activity available from October through next March.
