• Day 1: Marrakech

  Today your private English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel (to be advised) for a Marrakesh Private Walking Tour. You'll start with the Bahia Palace ("brilliance" in Arabic), a historical museum featuring 150 rooms decorated in elegant Moroccan style. Proceed to the Saadian Tombs with lush gardens and 2 extraordinary mausoleums showcasing the incredible skills of master artisans during the time of Ahmed el Mansour, the fifth and final Saadian ruler. After lunch, continue on to the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech’s largest mosque with the minaret remaining the highest structure locally to this day. Later, move to Jemaa el-Fnaa, a marketplace located in the old city with changing entertainments throughout the day, such as the snake charmers, medicine man, tooth-pullers and Chleuh dancing boys. As darkness descends, the souk (market) illuminated by lights are impressive. Enjoy the unique bustle and hustle vibe before transferring back to your hotel.
