• Day 3: Pompeii & Winery Tour & Mount Vesuvius

  Get ready for a trip back in time today to one of antiquity's best-frozen moments in history! A morning walk unveils Pompeii's ruins preserved since Vesuvius' 79AD eruption. Snap photos of haunting casts and vibrant frescoes lining stone houses.

  Next, continue to the lush Vesuvius National Park. Visit a winery, sample the local terroir on a winery tour, and enjoy a 3-course lunch of regional flavors. Top the day off by enjoying a visit up close to the iconic smoking peak of Vesuvius itself, taking in panoramic views of the mountain that ultimately buried ancient Pompeii below.

• Day 4: Naples - Rome, Cinecittà Studios

  Check out and meet your driver for the transfer to Naples station. Take the high-speed train to Rome, where a local concierge will escort you by private car to your hotel.
