Day 1: Arrival, Guatemala City - Antigua
Welcome to Guatemala, a small country full of volcanic landscapes and the mysterious Mayan culture!
As the flight lands at the airport, you will take comfort in the smile of your guide. Transfer to your hotel in Antigua and enjoy the remaining time at leisure.

Day 2: Antigua - Chichicastenango - Lake Atitlan
The market held in the town of Chichicastenango every Thursday and Sunday draws many travelers. People come here to see the colorful textiles, amazing handicrafts, and locals dressed in their traditional outfits. If the market is a microcosm of Mayan life, the nearby Church of Santo Tomás is a showcase of the spiritual beliefs of Maya-Quiche natives. All in all, the town is a great place to let you immerse yourself fully in the Mayan people's life and culture. After the tour, proceed to Lake Atitlan for overnight.

Day 3: Lake Atitlan - Antigua
Surrounded by three volcanoes, Lake Atitlan boasts one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Riding on a boat is recommended as one of the best ways to enjoy its volcanic landscape. The boat will dock at the town of Santiago Atitlán, which is known for its worship of Saint Maximon. Visit the place of worship of Saint Maximon and get some interesting knowledge of this God. Transfer to Panajachel and then continue towards Antigua in the afternoon.

Day 4: Antigua - Guatemala City
Known as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the whole city of Antigua is filled with ornate baroque buildings. This morning you will make a wonderful walking tour of the town, strolling around its cobblestone streets to see the colorful walls with characteristics balconies. After that, pay a visit to the village of San Juan del Obispo. Just 15 minutes from the center of Antigua, this village is famous for holding one of the first Catholic churches in Guatemala. Later on, continue to another village named Santa Maria de Jesús that is located under the slopes of Agua Volcano. When the tour ends in the afternoon, depart to Guatemala City for the night.

Day 5: Departure from Guatemala City
Time to say goodbye. After hotel check out, transfer to the airport to take your flight home or to your next destination.
