About This Trip

Day 1: Frankfurt - Baden-Baden
This morning depart from Frankfurt to start your vacation in the scenic Black Forest, where many of the stories in Grimm's Fairy Tales such as Snow White and Cinderella take place.
The first stop will be Baden-Baden at the northwestern border of the Black Forest mountain range. It is worldwide famous for its elegant spa resort as well as the Casino, the largest and oldest one in Germany. Spend some time exploring the city and its surroundings to enjoy its charm. It may be a good idea to reward yourself with an optional relaxing in the classic Friedrichsbad spa.

Day 2: Baden-Baden - Titisee - Freiburg im Breisgau
After breakfast, continue your travel towards the southern part of the Black Forest. You will reach Titisee in the heart of the forest and the lakeside small villages are mostly German traditional half-timbered residential buildings.
You might visit Hofgut Sternen and learn more about the fascinating world of cuckoo clocks. Later, continue to the nearby Freiburg. Before relaxing in the hotel, you will take a sightseeing tour of the city.

Day 3: Freiburg - Colmar - Strasbourg
Today you will cross the river to visit Colmar and Strasbourg in the country of France. When setting among the city of Colmar, the brightly colored wooden buildings and unique waterside views might bring you into a different calm mood.
While visiting Strasbourg, you may be amazed by its historic center that is packed with numerous elegant architecture from the Middle Ages.
After the tour, check into your hotel in Strasbourg for the night.

Day 4: Strasbourg - Heidelberg - Frankfurt
Go back to Germany this morning and head toward Heidelberg to visit the ruins of the famous Heidelberg Castle. Sitting 80 meters up the northern part of the Königstuhl hillside, it is a landmark of Heidelberg.
As you arrive in Frankfurt, your vacation of the Black Forest comes to an end with your unique memories.
