This 6-day tour will take you to relish the century-old architecture, wonderful food, and world-class wine in fascinating Bordeaux. You can walk to visit the local churches and monuments and enjoy a scenic cruise on the Garonne River. Day 1: Bordeaux Arrival, Private Transfer to Your Hotel
Welcome to Bordeaux, the "Wine Capital of the World"! Surrounded by several wine regions, including the Chateau Saint-Émilion, the first wine intangible cultural heritage in the world, it is an ideal starting point for getting insight into French wine cultures.
Upon your arrival, a chauffeur will transfer you from the airport to your hotel. Check into the hotel and the rest of the day is left for you to hop around for its splendid historic buildings and seek a cozy inn or small romantic tavern for an excellent dinner.

Day 2: Private Walking Tour & Guided Cruise
Bordeaux, also known as the "City of Art and History", is home to one of Europe's biggest 18th-century architectural urban areas. Take a 2-hour private walking tour to see its impressive monuments, churches, and square as well as the unique panoramic views around the Garonne River. The last stop of the walking is Place de la Bourse, where the reflecting pond has become emblematic of the city.
End today with a guided cruise on the Garonne River. As the Bateau Mouche sails, the cityscape on both sides of the river appears in front of your eyes.

Day 3: Private Excursion to Arcachon and the Dune of Pilat
The seaside town of Arcachon, about 55 km southwest of Bordeaux, is one of the most popular destinations in the Bordeaux area even in France. Take a day to do an excursion to this town with a chauffeur and private vehicle at the side.
You can see villas in the winter town (the Ville d'Hiver) with various styles, magnificent, fantastic, and stunning. You can climb to the top of the Dune of Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe, for the stunning views of the entirety of Arcachon Bay. Most tourists even Frenches come to Arcachon for its Oysters farms. Day 4: Private Full-day Wine Tour to Saint-Émilion and Pomerol
Today you will take a whole day to explore three château in Saint-Émilion and nearby Pomerol. The Pomerol appellation Château Beauregard, your first stop, is established in the 17th century by the Beauregard family. Its outstanding terroir is largely made up of clay-gravel soils in which the Merlot, the king grape variety of the region, finds its full expression alongside the Cabernet Franc, which is planted on the deepest gravel soils. The 42-acre vineyard, organically-grown, is on the "Plateau de Catusseau", a terroir that is shared with the most prestigious wines in the world like Cheval Blanc or Petrus.
Followed by is Château Soutard, a producer of Saint-Émilion grand cru classé in the heart of Saint-Emilion's limestone plateau. Accompanied by a professional guide, you can visit its farm buildings, the cellar, the orangery, and its decorated ceilings.
Later, take a guided tour to explore the town of Saint-Émilion and free time will be left for you to do some shopping. The medieval town of Saint-Émilion is a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Port of the Moon in Bordeaux.
Before returning to the hotel, pay a visit to Château Guadet, whose vineyard has earned the prestigious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru classé label.

Day 5: Private Full-Day Tour of the Médoc Wine Sub-region
Spend the whole day visiting three châteaux in the Médoc Wine Sub-region of the Bordeaux Wine Region.
The first stop is Château Lascombes, a producer of Margaux deuxième grand cru. You will have the chance to taste two reds that were created by combining traditional and high-tech wine-making techniques.
Next is a visit to Château Pichon Baron, a Pauillac deuxième grand cru. The terroir conditions along the estuaries make its wine special. Sample three wines here to identify the difference from the wineries that you have tasted.
Finally, end at Château Gruaud Larose, a Saint-Julien deuxième grand cru. Take a private visit to the cellars to see the old vintages and then up to the tower for the overlooking views of the vineyards and the Gironde estuary.

Day 6: Bordeaux Departure, Private Transfer to the Airport
Time to say goodbye to Bordeaux. A chauffeur will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the airport according to your flight scheduler.
