Day 1:Welcome to Cairo, Egypt
Upon touching down, head to your hotel for check-in. Take advantage of the hotel's facilities to relax and recover from the long flight. In Barcelo Cairo Pyramids Hotel, you may unwind by the heated outdoor swimming pool overlooking the pyramids, treat yourself to delicious culinary delights in their restaurants or bars, or admire the stunning sunset over the pyramids from their panoramic terrace.
If time permits, you can join an optional guided tour of the Egyptian Museum in the afternoon.

Day 2:Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx & the Grand Egyptian Museum
Open your day with the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza, where the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure stand as monumental testaments to the ingenuity of the Old Kingdom.

Day 3:Fly to Aswan, Embark On the Nile River Cruise
Wake up early and be escorted to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival, a local driver will escort you directly to your Nile River cruise ship. Take some breaks and enjoy lunch onboard.
In the afternoon, the stunning Philae Temple beckons, celebrated for its intricate carvings and the tranquil beauty of its location on Agilka Island. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, where you can marvel at the ancient craftsmanship revealed in its monumental, yet unfinished, structure. Next, embark on an enchanting felucca ride that offers a serene glide through the desert panoramas and rocky vistas, all framed by the lush emerald islets of the Nile.

Day 4:Nile Cruise From Aswan to Edfu
As the morning sun warms the landscape, the vessel glides towards Kom Ombo. Here, a temple stands as a testament to the ancient Egyptians' complex religious beliefs, dedicated to both Sobek, the god of fertility, and Horus the Elder, the sky's regent.
Then the vessel sets sail for Edfu. Upon docking the cruise, you will hop on a 10-minute horse-drawn carriage to the historic Edfu Temple, hailed as the most well-preserved temple in Egypt. This architectural marvel, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, is celebrated for its intricate carvings and a history that spans millennia.

Day 5:Nile Cruise From Edfu to Luxor
As the ship reaches Luxor, it's time to immerse yourself in Luxor's rich tapestry of history.
The first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings. This ancient necropolis was the final resting place for the pharaohs and nobility of Ancient Egypt for nearly five centuries, and its fame was cemented with the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb.
Move to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of architecture nestled against the cliffs. Before returning the boat, pause in front of the mysterious Colossi of Memnon, which have stood watch for millennia, for photographs.

Day 6:Cruise Disembarkation, Fly Back to Cairo
The leisure Nile cruise comes to an end today. Disembark the boat after breakfast and then follow your guide to discover the landmarks on the east bank of the Nile.
Visit the Luxor Temple, a stunning complex dedicated to the gods Amun and Mut. With its majestic columns and grand facade, it highlights the artistic and architectural achievements of Egypt's New Kingdom era. Be captivated by the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, a monumental complex that speaks volumes about the religious fervor of the ancient Egyptians.
In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Cairo, allowing for a convenient connection to your international flight.
