Day 1: Quito, Arrival
Welcome to Ecuador, a South American country lies on the equator! Upon arrival in Quito, you will head to your hotel via a private transfer. Settle in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Quito, Ciudad Mitad del Mundo
When traveling in Quito, you can not miss two spots. The first one is the colonial center of Quito and the other is the Ciudad Mitad del Mundo. Walking along the cobbled streets in the center, you will appreciate many well-preserved buildings in Indian and Spanish architectural styles. The latter is home to the Monument to the Equator. Here you can do some interesting things with your beloved, like taking pictures when you are standing in the middle of the world or doing some science experiments to feel the power of the earth's magnetism.

Day 3: Quito - Galapagos Islands, Starting Galapagos Cruise
For many people, the Galapagos Islands is the main highlight of Ecuador. This morning you will fly to Galapagos Islands and start your adventure Galapagos cruise. There are different vessels and itineraries for you to choose from. All of them can offer unforgettable experiences to you. The following one, sailing around the west Galapagos, is one of the classic itinerary samples.
Upon arrival in Baltra airport, gather and then be transferred to your selected boat for check-in. In the afternoon, go ashore and visit Mosquera Islet. You will have opportunities to see a group of sea lions lying on the soft sand beach and other indigenous shorebirds like boobies.

Day 4: Galapagos Islands Cruise
This morning you will have an excursion to Egas Port on Santiago Island. The shoreline here is distinguished by the black volcanic sand and is home to the endemic Galapagos fur seals. In the afternoon, continue another excursion to Rabida Island. This island with its red-sand beach is shared by sea lions, mockingbirds, finches, and endemic Galapagos doves.

Day 5: Galapagos Islands Cruise
The exciting trip continues. Today you will visit Urbina Bay on Isabela Island, where large blocks of coral can be found along the coast. Another site is Tagus Cove, which is a deep water anchorage in the days of pirates. You will find some ancient graffiti left by whalers and buccaneers during the tour.

Day 6: Galapagos Islands Cruise
The shore excursions today are the Espinosa Point on Fernandina Island and the Vicente Roca Point on Isabela Island. The former is home to a huge concentration of Marine Iguanas, while the latter is a perfect place for deep-water snorkeling to observe the fantastic world under the water.

Day 7: Galapagos Islands - Quito - Otavalo
This morning you will go ashore to visit a local Giant Tortoise Reserve on Santa Cruz Island. Enjoy a walking tour inside the reserve to encounter as many giant tortoises as possible.
After the tour, your cruise through the Galapagos comes to an end. Gather from the port and be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Quito. On arrival, you will take a private vehicle towards Otavalo. This small town surrounded by beautiful countryside will offer a chance is an ideal place for you to get a more intimate experience with your family.

Day 8: Otavalo, Free at Leisure
There are two free days left for you. In addition to the town itself, some other interesting places near the town are also worth visiting. For example, you could spend a full day hiking up to the Cuicocha or riding a horse in a local hacienda. Feel free to ask your consultant for detail information.
