Day 1: Arrive in San José
Welcome to Costa Rica! On arrival at the SJO international airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and provided with all the necessary papers you need to use during the rest days. Afterward, a private transfer will bring you to your hotel in downtown San Jose.

Day 2: San José - La Fortuna
Start today's journey forward the northern plains at the mid-morning until La Fortuna that homes to the mighty Arenal Volcano. On the road, you will pass by various agricultural plantations and cattle ranches, and enjoy the most authentic rurality of Costa Rica.
Only about 15 minutes' drive from the Arenal Volcano National Park, a carefully-selected resort featuring hot springs and swimming pools that are heated directly from the volcanic veins of the Arenal Volcano is where you will stay for the next two nights.
The afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day 3: La Fortuna
Today is free for you to enjoy some of the optional excursions provided by the hotel (non-complimentary).
For those who want to take in Costa Rica's natural beauty in a more exciting way, the Sky Tram & Sky Trek is a perfect choice. Combining a slow-packed open-air gondola ride up and an adrenaline zipline journey soaring from canyon to canyon, this tour will treat you with endless panoramic views of this area.
For those who prefer a quiet tour, the tour to Arenal Hanging Bridges embellished with magnificent views of the Arenal Volcano will be a good choice. While walking along the 16 hanging bridges and trails you will regularly find a huge variety of species such as mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and insects.

Day 4: La Fortuna - Bajos del Toro
Depart for Bajos del Toro in the mid-morning. Surrounded by cloud forest with rivers flowing from mountains top and waterfalls hidden in woods, Bajos del Toro is a dream place to observe birds, including hummingbirds, bellbirds, quetzal, and many more. For the next two nights, you will stay at a secluded and tranquil luxury hotel tucked among the picturesque valleys and waterfalls of UNESCO-listed Bajos del Toro.

Day 5: Bajos del Toro
The melodious songs of birds and gurgling streams born in the mountains will be the first sounds you will hear in the morning. After breakfast, you can walk through the trails of the property to discover the wonders of these ancient forests inhabited by large numbers of migratory birds and interesting plantations of medicinal trees.
This afternoon is yours to walk around or relieve stress at the spa built in the woods along a stream, where you can also enjoy a miraculous sludge treatment. Or you may like to take some optional activities such as tree planting ceremony or organic vegetables. Undoubtedly, this is a place where you will forget about the rest of the world.

Day 6: Bajos del Toro - Puerto Jimenez
This morning, a private transfer will take you to the Juan Santamaria Airport for a local flight to Puerto Jimenez in the South Pacific area of Costa Rica. Upon your landing, the representative from your hotel will be waiting for you to board the boat crossing Golfo Dulce (the Sweet Gulf) to the hotel. During the 45-minute cruising, the dolphins that enjoy the gulf waters may surprise you.

Day 7: Puerto Jimenez

Day 8: Puerto Jimenez
Another leisure day for you to discover more in the jungle! You may like to take some optional excursions to explore the various attractions of this wonderful region.
Please take note that the use of snorkeling and kayaking equipment is included and available in the property, as well as the use of internal trails of the hotel. All these activities are carried out on your own.

Day 9: Puerto Jimenez - Manuel Antonio
This day we will go back through Golfo Dulce on the boat to the small port of Puerto Jimenez, where private transportation will take you to Manuel Antonio in the Costa Rican Central Pacific. Along the way, you can enjoy wonderful views of the Pacific beaches, pass near the Marino Ballena National Park, stop where if the conditions allow you to observe whales and dolphins splashing in the sea. Later on, you will arrive in Manuel Antonio, a paradise that mixes lovely white sand beaches with jungles and rain forests full of wildlife. Check into the hotel for the next three nights.

Today you will visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, one of the twelve most beautiful parks in the world recognized by Forbes Magazine.
As the smallest national park in the country, it is home to a large diversity of wildlife, including sloths, iguanas, and adorable squirrel monkeys, and is a wonderful destination for nature lovers. Joining lush rainforest, beautiful beaches, and charming coral reefs, it is also a great destination for relaxation.
The remaining time of today is at your leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or to explore the other area nearby.

This day is at your leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or take some charge excursions from the hotel, such as horseback riding, surfing lessons, canopy, kayaking, fishing, and mask diving.

Say goodbye to Costa Rica!
Today you will go to San Jose for your homebound flight. It's will take about 3 hours on the road. For your convenience, it's highly recommended to book a mid-afternoon or later flight.
