Day 1: Rio de Janeiro, Arrival
When your flight lands on the ground, Rio de Janeiro, a sprawling metropolis with natural attractions, will be in front of you. Your enthusiastic driver is waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Check-in and rest.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro City Tour
Start your city journey from the world-famous Pão de Açúcar, which you may prefer to call the Sugarloaf Mountain. Take a cable car to the top of Urca Hill, and stop to see the blue waters spreading right up to the horizon. Continue to ride the cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf and enjoy a full view of the entire city including the Christ Statue standing on the Corcovado Hill. Driving along the beaches and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, you will reach the foot of the hill and then board on a funicular train. When the train climbs through the forest to the top, you will get panoramic views of this Marvelous City again and close to admire Christ the Redeemer.
When night falls, Rio would come to a carnival world. Elaborate costumes, enthusiastic dancers and passionate singers will infect you in a spectacular Samba Show with dinner.

Day 3: Rio de Janeiro, Tijuca Forest
Today is dedicated to exploring the Tijuca Forest by jeep (join-in tour). The open-top jeep will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the stunning forest with the first stop at the Vista Chinesa for a commanding view of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, Guanabara Bay and Sugar Loaf. During the tour, you may find some bashful inhabitants of this rainforest, such as monkeys, sloths and exotic birds.
On the way back to the hotel, stop at the Pepino Beach to watch the hang gliders fly through the air.

Day 4: Rio de Janeiro, Cruise on Guanabara Bay
You will take a cruise on Guanabara Bay (join-in tour) to observe Rio from a different perspective. From the water, you can see Christ the Redeemer overlooking you fatherly with his arms outstretched over his city, as well as the naval years, an old monastery, bay bridge, Sugar Loaf and others.

Day 5: Extend to Petrópolis
Be ready for Petrópolis, the Imperial City, to discover Brazilian history. Stepping into the Imperial Museum you will see a lot of historical artifacts and get a glimpse of how the Brazilian royalty once lived. Later on, have a stop at the Crystal Palace where the last slaves of Petropolis were freed, and then pay a visit to the Gothic-style Cathedral of Saint Peter of Alcantara which is dedicated to the patron saint of the nation and also houses the cemetery of the last Emperor of Brazil and his family.

Day 6: Rio de Janeiro Free Day
Since you have visited all the highlights in Rio, the following two days will be left for you to savor its charm slowly and carefully. Cross through the tiny lanes of downtown, step on cobbled streets, pass by some old colonial buildings, and then stop into a small cozy cafe. It is all at your option.

Day 7: Rio de Janeiro at Leisure
Today is still a free day for you. No visit to Rio is complete without actually setting foot on the legendary Copacabana beach. How about spending time at the beach? Just lie on the beach chair and be stunned by layers of endless white and blue that lay before you. Some wave surfers are trying to catch the wave at a distance, while some youngsters practice their football skills on the beach.
