• Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg

  Upon your arrival in Johannesburg, a comfortable transfer will take you to your hotel for check-in.

  After breakfast in the hotel, fly to Nelspruit and then transfer by road to your lodge on the western edge of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. An exciting open vehicle game drive is waiting to bring you into the wonderful wildlife world.

• Day 3: Sabi Sand Game Reserve

  Wake up in your tastefully furnished en suite chalet scattered through indigenous bush and trees. Except for the regular game drives in the early morning and late afternoon, you can also do an optional bush walk accompanied by a ranger with a comprehensive knowledge of all flora and fauna found in Sabi Sand. Or just sit on your private decks in the chalet looking onto the waterholes that may attract many species of wildlife especially in the dry winter months.

  Your authentic and exciting African wildlife exploration continues. While in the afternoon game drive, stop for the splendor of an African sunset and the absolute tranquility of the brush.

• Day 5: Sabi Sand Game Reserve - Maputo

  To increase the chances of encountering wildlife and create more unforgettable memories, you can take the last morning game drive before leaving for Maputo by road.

  Once you arrive at your hotel near Maputo Airport, settle in and rest. The spectacular pool area overlooking the Indian Ocean is a good place to kill time.

• Day 6: Maputo - Vilanculos

  After breakfast, fly to Vilanculos and connect with an onward charter flight to Bazaruto Island.

  This sandy island, as part of the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park, is a perfect place for escaping from the hustle and bustle of the city. The resort, setting along the coast, offers luxurious and comfortable accommodation with private pools and panoramic ocean views.

  For the first day on the island, why not take a bicycle or join in the tour offered by the resort to circle the island for a glimpse into local history and culture? Visit the nearby local villages, head to the inland lake for bird-watching, relish in the pristine scenery of the east coast from the Sailfish Bay, and enjoy the sunset at the central highlands with a drink.
