About This Trip
Start and end in Entebbe, this 8-day Uganda Safari will take you to explore the diverse wildlife. Start your trip by visiting the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and meet endangered white rhinos in their natural habitat. Enjoy a game drive in the Murchison Falls National Park, you will have a chance to see the Big Five. Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe - Kampala
Welcome to Entebbe, the location of Uganda's only international airport! After arrival, meet your guide just outside the arrival hall and then privately transferred to your hotel in Kampala, Uganda's capital and the largest city which is about 40 km away. Check in and rest.

Day 2: Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park
Depart for Murchison Falls National Park with a detour to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino trekking, in which you will follow well-trained rangers to spot the endangered white rhino in their natural habitat. There are also chances to encounter other wildlife, such as Uganda kobs, oribis, waterbucks, and bushbucks.
Arrive at the national park early evening, have dinner and spend the night at your safari lodge.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park is the only national park in Uganda where you can see the Big Five. In the Park, Victoria Nile, one of the two main tributaries of the longest river in the world, rushes out of the narrow cracks in the cliffs of the Great Rift Valley. On the grassland in the north of the river, live elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of antelopes. In the river, there is the densest population of hippos and crocodiles in Africa, as well as a large array of water birds. In the southeast, the Rabongo Forest is inhabited by Chimpanzees and other rainforest animals.
Today, you will enjoy a half-day game drive in the morning, return to the lodge for lunch and some leisure, take a private boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park - Kampala
Check out after the breakfast and then take a scenic drive back to Kampala.
Arrive at your hotel in Kampala early afternoon, check in, and enjoy some leisure time.

Day 5: Kampala - Bwindi
Head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest today. Experience a leisurely and scenic drive with a brief stop at the Equator Crossing for photography then a lunch break in Mbarara town. Later on, drive through cultivated expanses of the Bushenyi area and Rukungiri to Bwindi. Time permitting, go for a short stroll around the lodge or explore the community around the lodge or simply relax at your lodge.

Day 6: Bwindi
The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park located on the western edge of the Great Rift Valley is the home of nearly half of the 700 remaining mountain gorillas of the world, alongside numerous colobuses, chimpanzees, turaco hornbills, and other species of birds.
Today, you will follow the well-trained rangers and hike through the steep hills to search for gorillas hiding in the dense vegetation. The tour may take most of the day and require a lot of energy.

Day 7: Bwindi - Lake Mburo
Lake Mburo, a small national park combining lake systems, woodlands, grasslands and inhabited by varied mammals and birds, is a nice break on the long journey from Bwindi back to Kampala or Entebbe. Today, after early breakfast at the lodge, you will trace your way back through the winding hills and greenery of the west with an overnight stop at Lake Mburo.
Arrive at the lodge for lunch and leisure. Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you search for wildlife, such as giraffes, elands, impalas, and colorful birds.

Day 8: Lake Mburo - Entebbe - Departure
Depart for Entebbe after breakfast and lunch will be served en-route in Mbarara. Later, arrive at Entebbe international airport to board your onward flight.
