Our Story
Company founder and director Michael meets Candy and Lucy. Together, they begin leading group tours to China. Around 500 English-speaking customers traveled with us this year, and the number grew to 4000 in the next two years.
This transformative year marks the launch of our first website and a shift to private and tailor-made trips. George Eifler is our first online customer. On his China tour, we helped him find his friend Mr. Kan met in 1988 and arranged a reunion after 25 years.
After two years of exploration, it is time to create a brand. "Odynovo", a new word we created, means a new way to discover the world.
In response to customer interest, Michael travels to Southeast Asia, where he falls in love with its culture, food, and people. He then adds Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar to our destination list.
After exploring the destinations, we hand-pick the best experiences and start organizing tours to India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.
It's a landmark year as we expand further in Asia, adding Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Maldives, and more. This year, our destinations span 18 countries, covering all popular ones in Asia.
On our 10th anniversary, we set a new goal to become a global tour operator, starting with the Middle East. After on-site investigations, we offer tours to Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, and more.
This year, we found Odynovo Cares, a non-profit project dedicated to giving back to local communities in our destinations.
Our specialists begin exploring South America and Africa, using their first-hand knowledge to plan trips to more destinations in these regions.
Responding to increasing inquiries about Croatia, Spain, Italy, etc., we turn our gaze to Europe. Michael and our specialists take an in-depth investigation trip to Spain. We continue creating bespoke trips across Europe's 12 countries in the following years.
With over 70 destinations, Odynovo has become a truly global tour operator, offering premium trips across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and South America.
During the pandemic, we quickly address client concerns. By 2020, we had no debts or complaints to clients or local suppliers. In October, with Egypt's reopening, we greeted our first group. Rana and Davina enjoyed a safe 9-day trip. It gave us hope, and we took clients to more destinations in the following years.
We call 2022 "a year of resumption," as most countries reopened to international tourists with the improving coronavirus situation. It's been a busy and rewarding year for us. We are grateful to every client for choosing Odynovo.

The tourism industry is flourishing more than ever before in 2024. We reconnect with beloved clients and welcome back former team members who had been with us before the pandemic. It felt like time had stood still, and we resumed with renewed energy.
