SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING IN THE YEAR OF 1999...

1999
THE BEGINNING

Company founder and director - Michael meets Candy and Lucy. They join a local travel company and then begin to lead group tours to the far east destination - China. This year, around 500 English-speaking customers have traveled with us. And the number has increased to 4000 for the next two years.
2003
START PRIVATE & TAILOR-MADE TRAVEL
- It is a year of transformation. We launch our first website and start focusing on private and tailor-made trips: design itineraries as per customers' interests and provide personal guides and transfers to explore the destinations differently. George Eifler is our first customer coming from the internet. On his trip to China, we help him find his friend Mr. Kan met in 1988, and arrange a reunion after 25 years.
2005
ODYNOVO IS BORN

After two years of exploration, we think it is time to create a brand. "Odynovo", a new word created by ourselves, means a new way to discover the world.
2009
WE LAUNCH MORE DESTINATIONS BEYOND CHINA

With many loyal customers asking whether they can travel with us to Thailand or Vietnam, this year Michael takes a private journey to Southeast Asia, where he falls in love with the destinations, its culture, food, and people. He returns home and then decides to add Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar to our destination list.

SOUTH ASIA IS COMING

After touring the destinations ourselves, we hand-pick the best experiences and begin organizing tours to India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka. Whether customers are willing to explore a single country or wander a multi-country journey, we can arrange, as our specialists know these destinations inside out.
2013
EXPLORE MORE DESTINATIONS IN ASIA

2013 is a landmark year. As we go further in Asia, we can now also take customers to Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Maldives, Singapore, and Malaysia. And this year, our destinations reach 18 countries, covering all those popular ones in Asia.
2015
FROM ASIA TO THE MIDDLE EAST

As we reach our 10th anniversary, we decide to jump out of Asia and move towards a new goal - to be a global tour operator. And our first stop is the Middle East. After in-destinations investigations, our travelers can now travel with us to Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Turkey.
2016
TIME TO GIVE BACK

With the core value of being responsible in mind, we found Odynovo Cares this year, a non-profit project, dedicated to giving back to the local communities in our destinations, with our sustained efforts.
2017
SOUTH AMERICA AND AFRICA

Our steps never stop. This year, our specialists set off to South America and Africa. Based on their first-hand knowledge of recommended activities, accommodations, etc., we start planning trips to more destinations in these regions.
2018
EUROPE CALLS

As we receive more and more inquiries asking about travel to Croatia, Spain, Italy, etc., we turn our gaze to Europe in 2018. To reveal the new destination market, Michael and several travel specialists take an in-depth investigation trip to Spain and hand-pick experiences that are worthy of a visit. With Spain as a start, in the following years, we continue creating bespoke travel experiences across Europe's 12 countries: France, Greece, Croatia, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Iceland, Portugal, Austria, Germany, and Sweden.
2019
WE ARE NOW A GLOBAL TOUR OPERATOR

With our destinations reaching 70-plus, Odynovo has now become a truly global tour operator. We can now create premium trips in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and South America, for discerning, curious travelers like you.
2020
A YEAR OF CHALLENGE AND CHANGE

Due to the pandemic, many clients canceled or postponed their confirmed trips. We understood their concerns and acted quickly to help with the changes and to make refunds. By 2020, we had no debts or complaints to either clients or local suppliers.
And in October 2020, with Egypt's reopening, we greeted our first group during the pandemic. On this 9-day journey, Rana and Davina visited the best of Egypt safely and had a fabulous time. Their trip means a lot to us. It makes us believe that the sun rises no matter how dark the night is. With Egypt as a start, we took clients to more and more destinations in the following years, Morocco, Turkey, Jordan, Kenya, etc.
2022
RESTART

We'd like to call the year 2022 "a year of resumption."

This year, most countries have let international tourists back in because the coronavirus situation is gradually getting better. The itch to get out and retrace the steps of their globetrotting fantasies has returned in full force.

It's been a busy and rewarding year for us, with everyone on the team busy planning and arranging trips for tourists eager to see the world. And we’re glad to hear that our clients had a good time on their 2022 tours.

We are grateful to every client who chose Odynovo as their travel partner. We, like tourists, never stop moving! The year 2022 is a restart, and the possibilities are endless.
