Explore the highlights of Delhi, admire the beautiful Tai Mahal in Agra, discover the world-famous observatory of Jantar Mantar in Jaipur and more. Then, you will fly into the Buddhist country of Sri Lanka. Try to climb up to the ancient Sigiriya Lion Rock to imagine its past splendor, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy, and discover the famous cultural sights in Galle and the highlights of Colombo.

Day 1: Arrival, Delhi
As soon as you arrive at Delhi airport, our representative will greet you and escort you to the hotel for check-in. A brief about the following days' tour plan will be introduced to you and the rest of the day is for your own relaxation.

Day 2: Delhi
Today, start your tour with a visit to the Jama Masjid in Old Delhi. Then, explore the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk on a rickshaw.
After that, get back to New Delhi for a visit to Qutub Minar, and you will pass by the Red Fort on the way. Continue to the Gandhi Smriti and the Humayun's Tomb. And then drive past the city landmarks containing the India Gate, President's House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings where you can stop for photo opportunities. The last stop will be the beautiful Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir), the first large Hindu temple built in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra
Depart for Agra. It takes about 4.5 hours to drive from Delhi. Stopover en route for the coffee break or taking pictures is available at the designated place. After arrival, check in and have a short rest, and then step out to the Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden) for a superb view of the Taj Mahal in the sunset.

Day 4: Agra
Head for the Taj Mahal early in the morning so as to avoid the crowd and the heat. The immense mausoleum of white marble was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife. After the tour, return to your hotel for breakfast and refreshments.
In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Agra Fort which is a fine example of Mughal design. End today's tour at the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) described as a "jewel box".
Note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur
Today, drive about 5 hours to Jaipur. En route, make a stop at the Fatehpur Sikri. It is a short-lived capital of the Mughal Empire between 1572 and 1585. Upon arrival, have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6: Jaipur
Explore the Amber Fort located in the suburb of Jaipur. The fort is built from pale yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble. Take a jeep to the entrance on the hillside and visit the amazing Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) inside the fort.
Visit Nahargarh Fort for a panoramic view of the Jaipur City and then drive back to the downtown of Jaipur. Continue to visit the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar. On the way back to your hotel, you'll see the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and the business center.

Day 7: Jaipur - Delhi - Colombo - Negombo
Today, drive 4.5-5 hours from Jaipur to Delhi airport for your flight to Colombo.
After arrival, your chauffeur guide will pick you up and escort you to Negombo, a seaside town only a 20-minute drive away from the airport, and it is much closer than driving to the downtown of the capital Colombo. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8: Negombo - Sigiriya (About 5 Hrs by Car)
Visit the Negombo Fish Market and discover the famous Sri Lankan fishing industry. If you get there early in the morning, you will see local fishermen returning from the sea with boats full of fish.
In the afternoon, drive inland to Sigiriya.

Day 9: Sigiriya
Take an exploration of the world-famous Lion Rock (Sigiriya Rock Fortress). You'll be impressed with precious colorful frescoes decorated on the rock walls. When you climb to the top of the rock, you will get a panoramic view of the jungle.
This afternoon, you'll go deep into the rural area of Sri Lanka. Take a jeep or tuk-tuk to the village of Hiriwadunna where you can see paddy fields and rural vegetable plantations. At dusk, take a Catamaran Boat ride on the Hiriwadunna lake. You can admire the stunning sunset views besides the lake and look out on the Sigiriya.

Day 10: Sigiriya - Kandy
After breakfast, pay a visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple containing five caves, all of which are full of statues of Buddha and various personages of the Buddhist Order or History.
On the way driving to Kandy, make a stop at a spice garden where you can enjoy a 15-minute complimentary Ayurveda Massage. After arriving in Kandy, you will watch a traditional Kandyan cultural dance. Move towards the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which is the country's holiest temple and houses a tooth of a Buddha.

Day 11: Kandy
Spend the morning in the beautiful Royal Botanical Garden situated in Peradeniya, a suburb of Kandy. It is well-known for its fine collection of orchids and tropical plants.
After that, you will return to the downtown of Kandy, and the afternoon is your free time. You may take a leisurely walk around Kandy Lake.

Day 12: Kandy - Galle (About 6 Hrs by Car)
Head to Galle in the morning. The 6-hour drive may not make you tired as there are many tea plantations along the way making the view outside the window beautiful and special. If you are interested, we can arrange a tea plantation visit for you.
Upon arrival, check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 13: Galle
Ramble around the Galle Fort (Dutch Fort) for a relaxing day. Colonized by the Portuguese, the Dutch, and the British in turn, Galle is identified as a living World Heritage Site and an archaeological reserve. In the evening, you are recommended to step into a local restaurant for a yummy dinner.

Day 14: Galle - Colombo
Get on a train traveling from Galle to Colombo. The 3-4 hours' train journey along the beautiful coastline will be one of the most memorable parts of your whole trip. Upon arrival in Colombo, meet your local chauffeur guide and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free time.

Day 15: Colombo, Departure
Enjoy a half-day Colombo city tour to explore its highlights including the Independence Square, the Gangarama Temple, the Galle Face Green, the Colombo National Museum, the former British Administrative Center, etc.
In the late afternoon, you will be escorted to CMB airport for your onward flight. It takes 1 hour to drive from downtown Colombo.
