About This Trip
This 9-day trip combines the bucket-list items in Chile and Peru. Kick off an exploration of Easter Island, famous for nearly 1,000 extant statues scattered across the island, called Moai. You can get a glimpse of Rapa Nui culture and relish in the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The second half of the trip will take you to explore Inca culture in Peru. You'll explore the historical sites like Sacsayhuaman, Sacred Valley, and the world-famous Machu Picchu.

Day 1: Arrival, Easter Island
Upon your arrival on Easter Island, Chile, Odynovo's representative will welcome you with a traditional flower necklace, and then escort you to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Exploring the nearby church, local market and museum are good options to get to know the local lifestyle and culture.

Day 2: Easter Island
After breakfast, head for Ahu Hanga Te'e, where you will find several fallen moai (magnificent statues) lying on the ground face down. Proceed to the Rano Raraku, a volcanic crater which was turned into a quarry of legendary moai statues. Enjoy a delicious box lunch and the sublime surroundings here.
In the afternoon, visit Ahu Tongariki, the largest ahu on the island featuring 15 moai, one of which weighs 86 tonnes. After that, visit the Te Pito o Te Henua, followed by the beach of Anakena and the nearby Ahu Nau Nau.

Day 3: Easter Island
After breakfast, drive up the Rano Kau extinct volcano, en route, stop by a scenic lookout to enjoy the beautiful crater lake, and visiting the village of Orongo to gain an insight into the history of the birdman cult. After that, drive down to the Ahu Vinapu on the edge of the south coast, followed by a cave to enjoy amazing wall paintings.
In the afternoon, visit the Ahu Akivi featuring 7 moai related with the 7 young people who were the first to arrive on the island. Later, reach the Ahu Hanga Poukura, followed by the quarry of Puna Pau, and the ceremonial site of Tahai.

Day 4: Easter Island - Santiago
After breakfast, take a flight to Santiago, the capital of Chile. Upon arrival, you will be met by your private driver and then escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is for you to explore the charming city on your own.

Day 5: Santiago - Lima
After breakfast, fly to Lima, the capital of Peru! Upon arrival, you will be met and escorted to your hotel in the Miraflores District, a beachfront district with green parks, beautiful beaches and great shops. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the time by relaxing in your room or discovering the bustling city on your own.

Day 6: Lima - Cusco
In the morning, start for the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, be escorted to your hotel. After a short rest, you will be accompanied by your private guide to visit the site of Coricancha (Qurikancha), an Inca temple ruin forming the base of the Church of Santo Domingo. Later, proceed to the Cusco Cathedral to appreciate a unique collection of Cusco's colonial artifacts and relics. After that, head for the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, where you will be amazed at the stunning stonework.

Day 7: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes
After breakfast, start your journey to the Sacred Valley. Enjoy the breathtaking landscape of the valley in the Pisac Archaeological Park, peek into traditional local life in bustling Pisac Market, and then marvel at unbelievable Inca building remains in the Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo.
After a buffet lunch, take a train to the Aguas Calientes (your guide will not go with you for the train ride). Upon arrival, be escorted to your hotel.

Day 8: Aguas Calientes - Cusco
After breakfast, take a shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu, and follow the tour guide to gain an insight into Incan history and culture from its giant walls, terraces and ramps. After the tour, return to your hotel by shuttle bus to collect your luggage and then take a train to Poroy Station in Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be escorted by our representative to your hotel.

Day 9: Cusco - Lima, Departure
After breakfast, be driven to the airport for your flight to Lima, where you could connect to your homebound flight.
