About This Trip
Enjoy a week exploring some of Marrakech's most historic sites, including Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, Medersa Ben Youssef. Then make your way to the quaint village of Imlil which is a lovely Atlas Mountains settlement that offers stunning views and the chance to scale Toubkal, the highest peak in Morocco. Hike to a traditional Berber village and visit a local family to learn more about Moroccan people's daily life.

Day 1: Welcome to Morocco
When your flight lands in Marrakech, clear customs and go out to meet your private English-speaking driver. A comfortable transfer will take you to the hotel for a rest. If you are interested, getting to the main square for a short exploration on your own will be a nice choice.

Day 2: Marrakech Guided Exploration
Today, your private guide will tell you why Marrakech is famous all over the world. Firstly, pay a visit to the Medersa Ben Youssef, the largest theological college in Morocco. Next to the El Badi Palace, a 16-century palace ruins. Here you can walk around the huge gardens surrounded by high walls. Followed by the Bahia Palace, built in the late 19 century and caught the essence of the Islamic and Moroccan style. In the afternoon, your guide will take you into the different quarters of the Souks for a glimpse of various handiworks.

Day 3: Leisure Time in Marrakech
Today is left for you to take an exploration at your own pace. You could enjoy a leisure walking around the Jardin Majorelle Garden for its beautiful plants, wander along the Jemaa el-Fnaa, observe authentic life by riding a caleche along the streets or sitting near the window with a cup of coffee, and try some Marrakech's food while watching snake charmers and dancers performing on the corner.

Day 4: Head to the Atlas Mountains
After breakfast, your private driver will take you into the Atlas Mountains for a 3-day easy hiking tour. Imlil, a quaint village located on the Atlas Mountains, is the site that you will stay. After arrival, you can stay in your hotel for a rest, or go out to take a short exploration with the stunning views.

Day 5: Hike to the Traditional Berber Village
Today, your guide will show you the daily life of the local people living in the Atlas Mountains via an easy hiking tour to a traditional Berber village. When you get there, share lunch with a local family, and interact with the host. A visit to the Assafou Foundation is highly recommended. It provides free education to children and women living in these rural communities. The children study knowledge and the women learn skills such as weaving. After the tour, go back to Imlil for overnight.

Day 6: Take Exploration on Your Own
Today is a free day for you. There are lots of hiking trails that offer the excellent landscape of nature. You may pick the most suitable option for your fitness level and interests. You may also stroll around the local markets to soak up the rural atmosphere.

Day 7: Return to Marrakech for Departure Flight
Say goodbye to Morocco and then be transferred back to Marrakesh to board your homebound flight.
