Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival, Athens

  Greece is a country located in Southern Europe and considered the cradle of Western civilization. As the capital and largest city of Greece, Athens is the ideal city to learn about the history of this country. Once you land at the airport, be transferred to your hotel and the remaining time is yours at leisure.

• Day 2: Athens - Delphi - Kalabaka

  Morning drive north-west to Delphi, which was hailed as the center of the world and the religious center by the ancients Greeks. Guided visit to the archaeological sites, including the Temple of Apollo, Theater, Market, the famous Omphalos, and Delphi Museum with the amazing sculptures. Then driving through central Greece we arrive at Kalabaka for the night.

• Day 3: Kalabaka - Meteora - Athens

  Guided visit to the unique Meteora in the morning. We will see two Byzantine Monasteries (too many steps) standing between earth and the sky, atop of huge rocks and containing historical and religious treasures. In the afternoon, return to Athens with a short stop at Leonidas monument at Thermopylae.

• Day 4: Athens - Istanbul

  Morning private Athens city tour with a visit to the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the National Library. Continue on to watching the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium where is famed for holding the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, the Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and finally Acropolis. Explore the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and finally Parthenon. Today's tour concludes at new Museum of Acropolis.

  After the tour, you will be transferred to Athens Airport for your flight to Istanbul. On arrival, be picked up and transferred to your hotel.

• Day 5: Istanbul

  The highlights of Istanbul will be included in the tour of today. The Topkapi Palace, especially the Imperial Harem, show the royal buildings and fabulous collections of jewels. Later, marvel at the fascination of the stunning Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Basilica Cistern. Finally, enjoy leisure walking around the ancient Hippodrome.

• Day 6: Istanbul - Cappadocia

  This morning, you will fly to Cappadocia, which has a unique historical and cultural heritage. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. After a short rest, start your exploration to the Devrent Valley and the Pasabag Valley for the amazing fairy chimneys. In the afternoon, head to the Goreme Open Air Museum to visit the cave churches. Passing the Pigeon Valley, you will visit the Uchisar Castle, located at the highest point in Cappadocia.

• Day 7: Cappadocia

  Today, you will visit three historic sites: the Ortahisar (a cave citadel), the subterranean city of Kaymakli, and the troglodyte dwellings in the Cavusin Valley. In the afternoon, take excellent pictures of the fascinating landscape of the Red Valley and then enjoy some leisure time in a Wine House.

• Day 8: Cappadocia - Kayseri, Departure

  Enjoy some free time and then take a private transfer to Kayseri airport for your departure flight with your wonderful memories.
