Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City
Welcome to Mexico City! On arrival, you'll be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Mexico City Tour
Your privately guided city tour will start from the Zocalo, Mexico City's historic main square that is surrounded by some of the city's most important monuments. Among them, you will especially visit the Metropolitan Cathedral - the biggest church in Latin America and the Palacio Nacional that hosts Diego Rivera's murals depicting the 400 years history of Mexico.
Later on, drive along the famous Paseo de la Reforma built during the short-lived reign of Emperor Maximilian and continue to marvel at the treasures of the Aztec culture, such as the Aztec Calendar at the National Museum of Anthropology.

Day 3: Mexico City - the Archaeological Site of Teotihuacan
Begin a full day of privately guided exploration to the impressive archaeological site of Teotihuacan, located 50km northeast of Mexico City.
On the way, your first stop will be the Plaza of the Three Cultures (Plaza de las Tres Culturas), where displays the architectural legacy of three cultural facets: the Aztec pyramids of Tlatelolco, the 17th-century Spanish Templo de Santiago, and the modern tower that houses the Centro Cultural Universitario. The second stop is the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, one of the most visited Catholic Shrines in the world, as well as the National Shrine of Mexico.
At last, you will arrive at Teotihuacan to explore its temples, palaces, and pyramids, including the Quetzalpapalotl Palace Complex, the Temple of the Feathered Conches, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the immense Pyramid of the Sun, ranked among the biggest in the world.

Day 4: Mexico City - Campeche
Take a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Campeche, a colonial city located on the Gulf of Mexico. After arrival, be picked up and transferred to your hotel. The rest time today is yours to explore this charming city on your own.

Day 5: Campeche, Discovery of the Colonial City
The UNESCO-listed Campeche is a Spanish city built on the site of a former Maya finishing village. In colonial times, it was one of the main targets of pirates. To protect it from attacks, the Spanish Crown ordered the fortification of the city.
Campeche's defenses were completed by two forts and strengthened by eight bastions. Your visit will start from the two forts on hills outside the city: the Fuerte de San Jose having an exhibit on colonial military history and the Fuerte de San Miguel displaying some beautiful Mayan artifacts. Followed by are two bastions - the Baluarte de San Carlos and the Baluarte de la Soledad, the Ex-Templo de San Jose, the Casa del Teniente del Rey, and the Cathedral.

Day 6: Campeche - Merida
Depart for Merida today with an en-route tour to the archaeological site of Kabah and Uxmal.
The most amazing part of Kabah is the Mask Palace with its western wall densely covered by hundreds of stone masks of the rain god Chaac, some of which look like tigers with open mouths while some others have long noses like elephants.
A half-hour drive from Kabah is Uxmal. With more than 150 buildings and Maya architecture and named Heritage of Mankind, Uxmal is the purest gem of Puuc art. According to legend, the Pyramid of the Wizard was built in a single night. The Governor's Palace is one of the most significant constructions of the Pre-Columbian world. A walk through the city of Uxmal is a trip through your imagination, exploring the past and one of the most beautiful Maya buildings.

Day 7: Merida
Merida, the social and economic center of Yucatan, is home to abundant laid-back streets, impressive European-style mansions, and parks shaded by laurel trees. Today is left for you to take in the colonial charm of the city by walking through its historical city center on your own or joining in a cooking class. Or you may like to take an optional tour to the Celestun Biosphere Reserve, about 90km west of Merida, to see flamingos and many other birds.

Day 8: Merida - Riviera Maya
In between the south of Cancun and the north of the archaeological site of Tulum stretches a stunning coastline - the Riviera Maya. It's peppered with tropical parks, snorkeling and diving heavens, and luxury resorts.
Today, on the way from Merida to Riviera Maya, you will visit the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World and the best restored Mayan sites in the Yucatan Peninsula. Here, you can marvel at the magnificent Pyramid of Kukulcan, the Great Ball Court, the Cenote of Sacrifice, and some other beautiful temples.
