Day 1: Arrival Mexico City
This is a dynamic metropolis that combines history and modernity; this is the most important economic center of Latin America; this is Mexico City! Welcome you!
After arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you will have some leisure time to explore the city.

Day 2: Mexico City Tour
Your city exploration will start from Zocalo, the main square of the Historic Center of Mexico City with some of the city's most preeminent buildings around. On the north is the Metropolitan Cathedral, the biggest church in Latin America where you will be amazed by its majesty architecture and incredible ornament. To the east stands the Palacio Nacional where to decipher Diego Rivera's famous murals "The Epic of the Mexican People" themed to the history of Mexico.
Later on, drive along the famous boulevard Paseo de la Reforma and head to the world-class National Museum of Anthropology where you will visit the Aztec Hall that hosts the most precious treasure of this museum - the Aztec Calendar.

Day 3: Mexico City, Floating Gardens of Xochimilco & University City
In the south of Mexico City, Xochimilco remains the traditional farming landscape coming down from the Aztec period when farmers used water plants and wooden stakes to build fences under the lake and then filled the fences with soil and water plants until they were ok for planting. Such as farmland between waterways are often called floating gardens. This morning, you will take a boat to explore the floating gardens of Xochimilco. As long as not on Sunday when is soccer team season, on the way to Xochimilco, you can also make a panoramic stop at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, Latin America's largest university that has been declared as a World Heritage Site.
In the evening of Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, you'll have the chance to enjoy a traditional Lucha Libre Show - a kind of freestyle wrestling full of entertaining atmosphere. There, you can find not only showmanship but also all sorts of drinks and snacks. Day 4: Mexico City - Merida, Merida’s Historical Center
Take a private transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Merida. After arrival, follow your guide to explore Merida's historical center.
You will visit the Cathedral of San Ildefonso, the oldest cathedral in the Americas. Built between 1561 and 1698, some reclaimed building materials from Mayan temples were used in its construction. Inside it, you can find murals depicting the meeting between Francisco de Montejo - the conquistador - and the Mayan King Tull Xiu. Then, explore the Casa Montejo - the grandiose home of the conquistador and the Governor's Palace housing 27 huge murals by Don Fernando Castro Pacheco illustrating the somewhat violent history of Yucatan. All of these buildings stand around the Plaza Principal, so you can take a lot of beautiful pictures of them while strolling the plaza. Finally, you'll have a scenic drive along the historical Paseo Montejo flanked with leafy trees, stately buildings, and luxurious shops and restaurants.

Day 5: Merida
It is a leisure day for your arrangement and there are some optional tours for you to choose from.
An optional tour to the Celestun Biosphere Reserve, about 90km to Merida, is highly recommended if you are a nature lover. There, you can take a boat ride to observe the pink flamingos, jabiru, king vulture, greater white-fronted goose, and hundreds of plant species.
If you are a foodie, a walking street food tour will take you to a local market to get known of some local products, taste some of the most popular dishes, snacks, and drinks in Merida. Or you can also choose to join in a cooking class to learn some local dishes by yourself.

Day 6: Merida - Tulum, Chichen Itza
Tulum, the destination of today, is the only walled city the Maya built on the edge of the Caribbean. And the archaeological site of Chichen Itza is just halfway from Merida to Tulum.
In Chichen Itza, the most imposing building is the Pyramid of Kukulcan. Though much smaller than other Mayan pyramids, it has been listed as one of the New Seven Wonders in the World for the accurate use of calendar and astronomy knowledge in its construction. At the dusk of every spring equinox and the autumn equinox, sunshine casting on the pyramid will form an image of the Kukulcan, the god of Feathered Serpent. Besides the pyramid, you will also marvel at the Great Ball Court and the Sacred Cenote.

Having seen some historical sites in the past days, today is left for you to relax, enjoying the sunshine, beach, and food of Tulum, or your hotel facilities.

Another leisure day for you to take in the laid-back air of Tulum.
Or you may like to join in a Turtles & Cenotes Snorkeling Tour to visit a beautiful cenote of the Riviera Maya, swim with marine turtles at Turtle Bay, and see the famous Caribbean reef.

Day 9: Tulum - Cancun, Departure
Your Mexico vacation will be finished today. When you are ready, the driver will pick you up and transfer you to Cancun airport for your departure flight back home.
