About This Trip
With this 11-day itinerary, you will hit some of Greece's most iconic cultural sites and beautiful islands. Start in Athens with a guided exploration of the Acropolis and other historical landmarks before making your way to the magnificent clifftop monasteries of Meteora. Enjoy a full-day cruise to Athen's nearby islands of Aegina, Poros, and Hydra, and then enjoy some relaxing beach time on the glamorous Mykonos and Santorini before your flight home.

Day 1: Athens, Arrival
Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, you will be met and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own to explore this romantic city.

Day 2: Athens, City Tour
Start your city tour (5-6 hours in total) with a visit to the epicenter of commercial activities and Greek politics - Syntagma Square (Constitution Square). It is named after the constitution granted by Otto, the King of Greece, after a popular and military uprising in 1843. Explore the House of Parliament, the stately Monument to the Unknown Soldier and the specially designed National Library. Continue to see the Evzones in their distinctive uniform and the Presidential Palace.
Next, you will tour the Arch of Hadrian, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium, famed for holding the first modern Olympic Games in 1896; then, head to the Acropolis and appreciate the remains of ancient buildings with great architectural and historical significance, such as Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the most famous Parthenon, which is regarded as the finest example of Greek architectures. Later in the day, drive back to your hotel after visiting the New Acropolis Museum.

Day 3: Athens - Delphi - Kalabaka
Delphi is both an archaeological site and a modern town, surrounded by the superb landscape. Today, you will discover its archaeological sites, including the Temple of Apollo, theater, market, the famous Omphalos (navel of the earth) and the Delphi Museum with the fascinating sculptures. Afterward, get an insight into the local life in a traditional Greek village of Arachova. Continue driving (3hrs) through central Greece to Kalabaka / Meteora.

Day 4: Kalabaka - Meteora - Athens
After breakfast, depart for Meteora. There are one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here you can see two Byzantine monasteries perched onto high cliffs after mounting up the steps cut into rocks. The first monastery in the area was hand-built by a 14-century Athos monk. They used long ladders and baskets to transport themselves and cargo to the cliff in the past.
In the afternoon, return to Athens with a short stop at Leonidas Monument, the statue of a warrior king of Sparta.

Day 5: Athens, Full-Day Cruise
Travel out to Piraeus Port in the morning. Embark on your ship for a full day cruise to three picturesque islands: Aegina, a popular island close to Athens with many historic sites; Poros where you can overlook the beautiful Peloponnesus; Hydra, also known as "the artist's island", is where many artists from around the world make unique art crafts here. Enjoy your lunch and wonderful shows onboard.
After the cruise, transfer back to your hotel in Athens.

Day 6: Athens - Mykonos
In the morning, drive to Piraeus or Rafina port and take a scheduled ferry to the cosmopolitan Mykonos, and then proceed to your hotel.
Enjoy three days on this Cycladic island known for its great nightlife and beautiful beaches, such as Elia Beach, Paradise Beach, Super Paradise Beach and Psarou Beach, and the town's Cycladic architecture. Wander through the narrow alleys of Mykonos Town to visit the beautiful churches and famous windmills.
It's recommended to take a cruise tour to the island of Delos, the sacred island of Apollo, one of the most important historical and archaeological sites in Greece.
Note: From Ferry Piraeus or Rafina port to Mykonos, you can take a regular ferry (4 hours) and a sea jet (2.5 hours), or take a flight from Athens to Mykonos upon your request (40 minutes).

Day 7: Mykonos, Free Day at Leisure
Today is free at leisure in Mykonos.
Explore the island at your own pace. Soak up a relaxed ambiance while wandering through the numerous alleys, climb up the hills to enjoy the whole view of Mykonos and the nearby islands.

Day 8: Mykonos - Santorini
Board the hydrofoil or ferry boat from Mykonos to Santorini. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax at leisure.
Wander in this scenic volcanic island with the breathtaking views and whitewashed houses on the high cliffs of Santorini's dramatic "Caldera", you may take postcard pictures while strolling around the villages of Oia and Fira, Firostefani and Imerovigli. Visit the red and black beaches and numerous villages outside the Caldera, or tour any of the 12 volcanic wineries and sample a variety of white and red wines as well as local cheeses and famous Santorini Cherry tomato.

Day 9: Santorini, Free Day at Leisure
Today is for you to explore Santorini on your own.
After waking up in the soft sound of waves of the Aegean Sea, you are recommended to enjoy a sunbath on the beach. Later in the day, immerse yourself in a splendid sunset at Oia while sipping cocktails at a sea-view bar.

Day 10: Santorini, Free Day at Leisure
Enjoy your last day in romantic Santorini. You may encounter some unique shops in the alleys and buy some souvenirs or handicrafts as gifts for your family and friends.
Optional: You can take a flight (1hr) to Athens and then get your connection to your next destination.
