Pyramids & Nile Cruise With Sleeper Train

Meet your private guide at the hotel and head to the Giza Plateau. Visit the iconic Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with the Great Sphinx standing guard nearby.

Then, continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, located just minutes from the pyramids. This impressive new museum houses thousands of artifacts, including the famous gold mask of Tutankhamun and the well-preserved Solar Boat of Khufu. Take your time exploring the galleries to learn more about ancient Egypt's history and craftsmanship.

Today, you will get to know Cairo with a guided tour through two of its most cultural neighborhoods: Islamic and Coptic Cairo.

It starts from the Saladin Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque within it. Then, explore the Khan El Khalili market, which is over 600 years old. You may also take a walk around Al-Muizz Street if there is enough time.

Then, explore the Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church, Hanging Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue at Coptic Cairo. After the tour, take an overnight train to Aswan.

Arrive at Aswan Railway Station, where our representative will take you to board your Nile Cruise before lunch.

In the afternoon, get off the boat for a while to visit the world-renowned High Dam, the Philae Temple devoted to the two goddesses Hathor and Isis, and the Unfinished Obelisk lying in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt.

Have breakfast while sailing to Kom Ombo for a visit to the double temple with half dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the other half to the falcon god Haroeris. Afterward, return to the boat, have lunch on board and continue the cruise to Edfu, where you will explore the well-preserved Horus Temple and then sail on to Esna.

Arrive in Luxor this morning and discover the West Bank, including the Valley of Kings - the royal cemetery for 62 pharaohs, the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut who is the second female pharaoh in Egypt history, El-Deir, El-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon.

Disembark the cruise this morning and explore the East Bank of Luxor with your guide, marveling at the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple. Afterward, head to Luxor Railway station for the sleeper train back to Cairo.

Arrive in Cairo in the morning and take a private transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax in your hotel or explore the city at your pace.

It is a free day in Cairo. Or, you may take an optional Alexandria tour, which includes a stop at Qaitbay Citadel based on Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse, and visits to Alexandria Library, the Roman Cemetery, and the Catacombs.
