Day 1: Cairo, Arrival
Welcome to the land of Pharaohs! Touching down at Cairo airport, warmly welcomed by our representative, who will help you with the visa process, accompany you through the custom, and introduce you to your driver for a comfortable transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo, Pyramids and Sphinx
Meet your Egyptologist guide and start a chronological journey to Memphis, dating to 3,100 BC and housing the impressive statue of the Great Ramesses II. Following it is the Stepped Pyramid of Djoser. Dating to the 27th century BC, it's considered the earliest pyramid in Egypt.
Then, comes the best-known Giza pyramids: the Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (BC 26th Century), the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Next to them, the majestic Sphinx has guarded them silently for over 4,000 years. The more adventurous ones may pay a little extra on the site to discover the inner of a Pharaoh's tomb.

Day 3: Cairo, Egyptian Museum & Citadel of Salah El Din
Spend the morning exploring the Citadel of Salah El Din, a medieval Islamic fortress built by Saladin to fight against the Crusades. Military-obsessed children will cheer up to see various impressive weaponry at the National Military Museum in the northern enclosure of this medieval Islamic fortress. On the southern, visit Mohammed Ali Mosque and obtain the best views of Cairo and its vicinity.
Focus the afternoon in the Egyptian Museum and marvel at more treasures from ancient Egypt. Then, spare some time to feel the exotic sound and tastes of Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Day 4: Cairo - Alexandria
Move on to Alexandria today. About three hours by drive, this port city is named after the legendary Alexander the Great.
On arrival, visit the Library of Alexandria. The gorgeously designed new library is a reimagining of the ancient one built in the Ptolemaic dynasty and with ambitions to revive the ancient civilization. Inside it, you will find countless ancient books, texts, scrolls, and even art exhibitions and museums aimed squarely at children.
Then, continue to the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fort standing on the location of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Browsing the historic fort, learn the history behind it, and stare into the sparkling Mediterranean.

Day 5: Alexandria - Cairo, Overnight Train to Aswan
Start a new day by strolling around Montazah Palace, the royal garden of the last monarch of Egypt. Later in downtown Alexandria, visit the Catacomb of Kom El Shuqqafa, a well-like necropolis of the 2nd century AD. Descending along an ancient circular staircase, you see many tomb chambers, statues, frescos, and carvings confusing Roman, Greek, and Egyptian features. Nearby, marvel at the 25-meter-high Pompeii's Pillar and explore other archeological sites surrounding it, and then return to Cairo to embark on your adventure to Aswan by overnight train.

Day 6: Arrival in Aswan, High Dam & Nubian Museum
Wake up to the train rumble and watch the rustic country passing your window. Disembark the train after a brief breakfast and meet your local guide to start your Aswan journey.
Have known the High Dam a hundred times from textbooks long ago? Today you will finally meet the real one. Whether more or less mighty than in your imagination, it contributed a lot to the Egyptians. Then read fantastic stories about the Goddess Isis at the Phiale Temple relocated by UNESCO, pick out the Unfinished Obelisk at the Granite Quarries, and trace the history and culture of the Nubian people at the Nubian Museum. Then, check in your Nile Cruise boat and have a break.
Late afternoon, take a Felucca, passing by Elephantine Island and catching a splendid sunset on the Nile.

Day 7: Nile Cruise, Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
Stream down along the silver waves of the Nile, as the old Egyptian royals and nobles liked to do. Get ashore and discover two sacred temples.
The Greco-Roman times Kom Ombo Temple is a double-sided temple, with one side dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the other to the falcon god Horus.
The one at Edfu is also devoted to Horus with a falcon head. Once buried in the desert sand, it's the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt.

Day 8: Valley of the Kings & Colossi of Memnon
Sail to Luxor this morning, a place full of monuments with impressive scales. Want a panoramic view of these monuments? Consider splurging a little more and take a sunrise hot air balloon flight.
Accompanied by the learned guide, you will explore the Valley of the Kings, visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and listen to long-standing stories of the Colossi of Memnon.
If you wish to see more, the tombs of Ramesses, Merenptah, Tausert-Setnakht, Seti II, and Siptah are also available at your choice.

Day 9: Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, Land Journey to the Red Sea
In Luxor, on the west bank of the Nile, rested scores of pharaohs and numerous powerful nobles for thousands of years. While on the east bank are temples, residents, and the noise and chaos related to life. Disembark your cruise this morning and check out some typical ones on the east, like the massive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, once connected by an avenue of sphinxes.
In the afternoon, a four-hour land tour will take you to Hurghada on the west shore of the Red Sea.

Day 10: Hurghada, Beach Hours with Rich Options
With pleasant climates and gorgeous coastlines, Hurghada invites you to open your family beach hours: eating, sleeping, swimming, sunbathing, diving, snorkeling, or any other way you like.

Day 12: Hurghada - Cairo
Have another leisurely morning to enjoy what Hurghada has to offer. At the designated time, your chauffeur will transfer you to the airport for your return flight to Cairo. For the last night in Cairo, we suggest a luxury hotel so you can overlook the three successive pyramids on the Giza plateau again. A perfect farewell to Egypt!
