There are over 120,000 items on display inside the museum, making it one of the largest archaeological museums in the Middle East. You may admire stone works, including statues, reliefs, and architectural features on the ground floor. On the first floor, however, you can see smaller items like pieces of papyrus written in many languages that illustrate the 3,000-year history of ancient Egyptian culture.
