Day 1: San José - Bajos del Toro (1.5 hours approx - 49 km)
Welcome to San Jose, Costa Rica! Meet our representative at the Juan Santamaria International Airport and take the private transfer to Bajos del Toro; or you will pick up your 4x4 rental car and drive to Bajos del Toro.
Tucked away in a valley among some extinct volcanos and national parks, this small town provides a deep connection to Nature with a plethora of scenic views and outdoor activities, such as fishing, hiking, horse riding, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, zip-line tours, and waterfall rappelling.
The luxury, secluded, tranquil, and relaxing eco-lodge hotel, El Silencio Lodge & Spa, is where you will stay for the night. And tonight, you will have a romantic dinner in the forest.

Day 2: Bajos del Toro - Arenal Volcano (2 hours approx - 85 km)
This morning you will travel to La Fortuna that is home to the Arenal Volcano, an active volcano with its last eruption in 1968. Though there is no lava eruption nowadays, you can still see clouds of smoke or ash emanating from the crater. On the journey to the base of this majestic volcano, you will pass by some agricultural plantations, large ornamental plant nurseries, and cattle farms. After arrival, check into the luxurious Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa nestled in the heart of the tropical rainforest and enjoy the wine we prepared for you.

Day 3: Arenal Volcano, Arenal Volcano National Park & Hot Springs
This morning, you will hike the trails in the Arenal Volcano National Park through varying terrain of primary rainforest and old lava flows. There is a possibility to see wildlife, along with a great variety of vegetation in this area.
In the afternoon, enjoy the natural thermal springs at Tabacon Resort, surrounded by lush gardens and steaming waterfalls.

Day 4: Arenal Volcano - Celeste River (1.5 hours approx - 75 km)
Continue your trip to the Tenorio Volcano National Park that is known for the Celeste Waterfall, Rio Celeste, and abundant flora and fauna.
Your hotel is the Rio Celeste Hideaway, a small boutique hotel next to the national park. Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, this gourmet and eco-orientated hotel will provide you a truly unique experience. Enjoy a plate of chocolate-covered with strawberries we prepared for you.

Day 5: Celeste River, Tenorio Volcano National Park & Celeste River
Today you will visit the Celeste River that is enchanting with its vibrant blue hue. A 7 km hike through the rainforest will take you to the Celeste Waterfall, the Los Teñideros where the river begins its unique color, and the Borbollones - a section of the river bulling with hot springs. During the trip, you may meet some cute animals living in the forest. Finally, end the tour with an exquisite traditional lunch and then return to your hotel for relaxation, enjoying a couple's massage.

Day 6: Celeste River - Nosara (4 hours apporx - 203 km)
You will travel today to the Pacific coast in Costa Rica's southern Guanacaste region. Protected by the Ostional Wildlife Refuge, the town of Nosara has little development directly on its beaches, which also makes it feel more authentic to most visitors. With steady waves over 330 days per year suitable for riding and the world-famous yoga school, Playa Guiones, Nosara is a perfect destination for surfing and Yoga at the same time.
After arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the sunset happy hour.

Day 7: Nosara, Morning Free & Sunset Sailing Excursion with Snorkeling
Your hotel, Lagarta Lodge, is a boutique hotel featuring an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, and restaurant with awesome ocean views. This morning is left for you to enjoy the sea, sun, and beaches leisurely.
In the afternoon, you will go to Samara Beach (an hour from the hotel) to enjoy a boat tour and snorkeling near an island. During your cruise, keep your eyes open for the dolphins that occasionally delight passengers with their beauty. You may also encounter whales migrating down the coast to their breeding grounds, or sea turtles on their journey to shore to nest. As your cruise nears its end, seeing the sunset from the water is a breathtaking experience.

Day 8: Nosara, Free Day
You are free today to enjoy the hotel's facilities or do some other activities in this area.
You can explore rivers in the jungle by kayaking, walk along the endless beaches, or try a surfing lesson from one of the surf schools. There are also many opportunities to take a yoga class. For an adrenaline rush, you can go zip lining.

Day 9: Nosara - San José (4.5 hours approx - 261 km)
Depart from Nosara in the morning and return to San Jose for the last day in Costa Rica.
Considered to be one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Latin America, in downtown San Jose, you will find some historical museums, theaters, artisan markets, beautiful parks, and shopping centers. After checking into the hotel, you may like to explore the city on your own.
Tonight, enjoy a romantic dinner at your hotel.
