Arriving in the time-honored Xi'an, head to your comfortable hotel. The remainder of today is at your leisure, relaxing into its rhythms and sampling local delicacies like Roujiamo (Chinese-style hamburger).

Day 2: Xi'an
Today, prepare to be awestruck by an extraordinary army of life-sized Terracotta Warriors and Horses, meticulously crafted to safeguard China's inaugural emperor, Qin Shi Huang, in the realm beyond. Entombed within three expansive pits for over two millennia, this stunning archaeological discovery in 1974 reveals an ancient military formation complete with infantry, cavalry, and more. Besides, delve into the nearby museum to scrutinize the intricate details of bronze chariots and horses.
Upon returning to the city center, dive into the vibrant energy of the Muslim Quarter. Wander through its labyrinthine alleyways, brimming with aromatic food stalls and captivating architecture.

Day 3: Xi'an - Lhasa
Enjoy some leisure time this morning until your vehicle and guide arrive at the hotel to take you to the airport. Your next adventure awaits as you board a flight bound for Lhasa, the spiritual epicenter of Tibet.
Upon touchdown, be greeted by your new guide who will ensure a seamless transfer (about 1 hour) to your hotel. Once you've checked in, allow yourself time to unwind and adjust to the high altitude, which reaches around 3,656 meters above sea level.

Day 4: Lhasa
Today, reward yourself with a captivating tour of Lhasa's iconic landmarks. The majestic Potala Palace, once the winter residence of the Dalai Lama and now a UNESCO World Heritage site, boasts myriad halls, chapels, and meditation rooms, each adorned with intricate murals and statues. From its lofty heights, panoramic views of Lhasa's ancient streets and snow-capped mountains unfold.

Day 6: Lhasa - Chengdu
Time is free for you to explore Lhasa at your own pace. Your guide is on hand to accompany you on a smooth transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Chengdu, famously known as the "panda capital" of China.
Upon landing, be met and taken to your hotel, with the rest of the day at leisure. You may like to stroll through Jinli Ancient Street for local snacks and souvenirs or indulge in the spicy delights of Sichuan cuisine.

Day 7: Chengdu
An early start will get you to Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in time to encounter the fluffy white and black creatures at their most active. During the cooler morning hours, they chew bamboo, climb trees, roll on the ground, groom themselves, or wrestle with one another. From playful cubs to majestic adults, there are better opportunities for observation and photography.
This afternoon, back to the downtown and find tranquility at Wenshu Temple. Dating back over 1,000 years, this sacred Buddhist site boasts hallowed halls, serene gardens, and ancient relics. Wind down with a tea-tasting session, immersing yourself in the city's tea culture while savoring local blends.

1. No hotel rooms or flights have been reserved so far. We will make the reservation after the deposit payment is received. In case rooms are not available at the hotel foreseen/ desired, alternate rooms or similar categories of hotels will be suggested. 2. If the number of passengers is less than 4 people 45 days prior to the tour date, the tour will be canceled, and your deposit will be returned in full.
