Day 1: Melbourne - Warrnambool, the Great Ocean Road
Meet your travel director and join the group this morning, in Melbourne. Open the one-week tour with a scenic journey along the Great Ocean Road fringed with brash orange beaches and quaint coastal villages. Of course, you will not miss the Twelve Apostles, the nearby Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge - a set of spectacular rock formations rising majestically from the wild Southern Ocean. Late in the day, arrive in the rural town of Warrnambool.

Day 2: Warrnambool - Naracoorte
The magnificent dormant volcano, Tower Hill, shelters some of the favorite mammals of Australia, including emu, kangaroo, and koalas. Visit the Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve this morning for an incisive perspective on the indigenous flora, wildlife and volcanic formations of this area.
Later on, cross the border into South Australia and stop at the Blue Lake, a famous crater lake magically changing its color from colder steel grey to vibrant cobalt blue when summer comes and vice versa when autumn comes.
Continue to the Coonawarra wine region and taste the world-renowned Cabernet Sauvignon produced on its "terra rossa" soil. Before arriving in Naracoorte, you will also explore the Alexandra Cave with a local expert.

Day 3: Naracoorte - Kangaroo Island
Journey today to Fleurieu Peninsula and visit Victor Harbor, a charming town nestled on a sandy arc of the Encounter Bay. With sandy beaches for sunbath, clear turquoise waters for swimming, good waves for surfing, stunning views to relish in, and outstanding colonial architecture to discover, Victor Harbor has been a popular summer holiday destination for South Australians since long ago.
Afterwards, take a ferry to Kangaroo Island, visit the only boutique distillery in South Australia and sample its award-winning gins and liqueurs. Spend the night in Kingscote, the largest town on Kangaroo Island and the oldest European settlement in South Australia.

Day 4: Wildlife Sanctuary & Sea Bay Conservation Park
Start the day with a visit to the Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch created by the magical hands of nature. Following is a guided tour to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, a privately-owned conservancy committing to provide wild habitat for native animals and ravaged badly by the bushfire of January 2020. In the tour, you will understand the impact of fire on this delicate ecosystem and how the koalas and other wildlife adjust to their environment.
After lunch, explore the Sea Bay Conservation Park with a guided walk among a flock of rare sea lions.

Day 5: Kangaroo Island - Adelaide
Board a ferry this morning to cross back to the mainland and then move on to Adelaide. Before checking into your hotel, there is an orientation tour to tell you how to explore the City of Churches more efficiently on your own. There's plenty to see, do, and immerse yourself. The afternoon is yours to enjoy what Adelaide has to offer.

Day 6: Adelaide Hills & The Barossa
This morning, before enjoying the otherworldly natural beauty of Adelaide Hills, you will first explore Hahndorf, a small town tucked in the hill region and renowned as the oldest surviving German settlement in Australia. Stroll down its tree-lined streets and take in its German flavors.
Then, head to the Barossa Valley for lunch at the South Australian Company Store and an indulgent wine tasting at the famous Seppeltsfield, where you will also have some free time to walk around its Jam Factory.
Later in the afternoon, have a scenic journey back to Adelaide and enjoy the farewell dinner at night.
