Day 1: Welcome to Adelaide
G'day Adelaide! When your plane touches down at the airport, your local Driver Guide will greet you and whisk you to your hotel for check-in. Settle down and the rest of the day is for you to discover South Australia's capital city under your own steam or simply rest in your comfortable hotel room.

Day 2: Adelaide City Tour With Hahndorf
Explore Adelaide's highlights today! Visit the Central Market, a place bursting with colors and scents. Stroll through the lanes lined by stalls selling fresh fruits, meat, seafood, and bakery, before heading to Victoria Square, a host to many public events. Your exploration continues at North Terrace, where a stroll takes you to many cultural institutions, including the Art Gallery of South Australia and the South Australian Museum. Time permitting, step into the Art Gallery to appreciate Australian and international art.
Afterward, travel to Mount Lofty and soak up a sweeping view of Adelaide and the surrounding area from the summit lookout. Next up is the historic Hahndorf town, Australia's oldest surviving German settlement. Ramble along the streets, where German charms ooze from little cafes, bakeries, and shops, enjoy a craft beer (own expense), and stop at the Beerenberg Farm Shop for its delicious offerings of jams, sauces, and condiments.

Day 3: Barossa Valley Food and Wine Tour
Travel to Barossa Valley for a day filled with the aroma of wine, cheese, and gourmet food! With a history dating back to the 1840s, Barossa Valley is one of the country's oldest and finest wine regions. The wineries and cellar doors are famed for their red wines, especially the bold Shiraz and the vibrant Grenache, making the Barossa a paradise for red wine lovers.
Pay a visit to acclaimed wineries and cellar doors such as Chateau Tanunda and Rockford Wines (the selection may change depending on the date of your visit), sample the unique flavors of premium red wines, and perhaps pick up a bottle of your favorite wine to take back home. Taste locally produced cheese made using milk from cows and goats, delight your taste buds with gourmet food at lunchtime at one of the wineries, and stop at Maggie Beer's Farm Shop for a dive into the world of jams and other tasty produce.

Day 4: Kangaroo Island Wildlife Encounter
Embark on an overnight trip to Kangaroo Island to meet its fascinating wildlife! From Adelaide, a 2-hour road trip takes you to Cape Jervis situated on the southern tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula for the ferry ride to Kangaroo Island.
Upon setting foot on this island known for its lovely inhabitants and stunning natural beauty, head to Seal Bay Conservation Park for a guided tour that takes you to the heart of the sea lion colony to learn more about this endangered species and watch them playfully surfing the waves or enjoying the sun on the beach. Afterward, get close to koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and more in the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park. You may feed kangaroos, join a daily koala presentation, and even hold a cuddly koala in your arms (own expense).

Day 5: Kangaroo Island Exploration
Your fun-filled day on Kangaroo Island begins with a visit to the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery to gain knowledge of the distilling process of eucalyptus oil. Next up is Raptor Domain, a space for free-flight birds of prey and more. Join in the morning Free-Flight Presentation to see Wedge-tailed Eagles, Barn Owls, Black Kites, Cockatoos, and more incredible birds. You can even hold an eagle or owl after the presentation at an extra fee. Return to Adelaide by road at the end of the day and have a good rest.

Day 6: McLaren Vale Tour With D'Arenberg Cube
Dedicate this day to McLaren Vale and its picturesque vineyards and acclaimed wineries! Located between Mount Lofty Range's rolling green hills and southern beaches drenched with sunlight, McLaren Vale is famed for its diverse offerings from rich red wine including Shiraz and Grenache to lively white wines such as Chardonnay and Vermentino.
After a 45-minute drive, arrive at McLaren Vale. Visit d'Arenberg Cube, a work of art in the unique shape of a cube boasting an art gallery and a tasting room that is situated on the top level. Here you can soak up panoramic views of the hills and vineyards while savoring a selection of wine. During the day, you also have the chance to visit a few more wineries and cellar doors such as Oliver's Taranga Vineyards and Down The Rabbit Hole Wines for wine tasting (the selection of wineries and cellar doors may change depending on the date of your visit). Enjoy gourmet food for lunch, take in the gorgeous vineyard views, and get back to Adelaide after a fantastic day.
