On this 12-day journey through Argentina, you will experience nature and extraordinary wildlife. Start in Buenos Aires, where you can enjoy bird watching in the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve. Spend three days in Ibera National Park, where you can explore vast grasslands and humid forests and see various wildlife like birds, capybaras, swamp deer, and foxes. The next stop is the spectacular Iguazu Waterfalls, the world's largest waterfall system. You can also observe some marine animals in Puerto Madryn, like Magellanic penguins and elephant seals.

Day 1: Arrival, Buenos Aires
Welcome to Argentina, a country of diverse ecosystems and wildlife! Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to recover for the long journey.

Day 2: Buenos Aires, Bird Watching
Today you will enjoy a bird watching in the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve.
Costanera Sur, located on the south bank of the River Plate, is the biggest green space in the city of Buenos Aires. Covering wetlands, grasslands, scrublands and ponds, this reserve is not only a heaven for animals, especially birds, but also an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis. During the visit of several hours, you can breathe fresh air and have a chance to spot numerous bird species, like Black-necked swans, Gray-necked wood rails, Yellow-billed Cardinals, and Long-winged harriers.

Day 3: Buenos Aires - Posadas - Ituzaingo, Ibera National Park
After breakfast, fly to Posadas and then transfer into a private vehicle heading towards your hotel nearby the Ibera National Park. As part of the Ibera Wetlands, this park is worth spending several days discovering its charm.
Take a guided tour of the park this afternoon to know about the flora around your hotel, from the forest nursery of eucalyptus, grevillea, kiri and yerba mate seedlings to the organic garden planting herbs and vegetables.

Day 4: Ibera National Park
The adventure of the park continues today. Hop into a 4×4 vehicle to the Portal Cambyreta, the northern entrance of the park. Today you will explore the north of the park through a walking tour. Most of this area is grasslands and humid forests, offering the dwelling place for many animals like birds, capybaras, swamp deer, and foxes. Be prepared for your camera and telescope to capture these aborigines.

Day 5: Ibera National Park, Laguna Valle Expedition
For the third day in the park, it will be an interesting expedition to the Laguna Valle. After a 4×4 drive passing through fields and plantations, you will reach the Portal Laguna, the southeast entrance of the park. Your boat tour will start from here to Laguna Valle via the wide channel. Observing animals from the boat will give you a different experience.

Day 6: Ituzaingo - Puerto Iguazu
After a relaxing morning in the hotel, your private driver will escort you to the hotel in Puerto Iguazu. It will take about 4.5 hours on the road. On arrival, check into the hotel and have a good rest preparing for the exciting exploration tomorrow.

Day 7: Puerto Iguazu, Iguazu Waterfalls at Argentine Side
The Iguazu Waterfalls, which was voted as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature by New Seven Wonders Foundation, is the highlight that you can't miss when traveling in Argentina. Combining a 4×4 driving through the jungle and a boat riding on the Iguazu River, you can enjoy this impressive natural wonder to the fullest. Before getting close to the waterfalls and feeling the roar, you can't describe its majesty accurately in any words.

Day 8: Puerto Iguazu - Trelew - Puerto Madryn
Today you will fly to Trelew (with a stopover at Buenos Aires) and then transfer into a vehicle towards Puerto Madryn. Hotel check-in and rest.

Day 9: Puerto Madryn, Wildlife in Peninsula Valdes
Early in the morning, you will depart for Peninsula Valdes, an ideal place to observe marine animals. After a brief introduction at the Interpretation Center, head to Puerto Piramides for a close encounter with the Southern right whale (an optional activity visiting during the period between June and December); followed by Punta Piramides loberia, which is a settlement for seals. Later, pass by a penguin rookery, where you will have the opportunity to see Magellanic penguins, and then reach Salinas. Along the way back to your hotel, you can observe Patagonia's typical fauna and flora.

Day 10: Puerto Madryn, Excursion to Punta Ninfas
Punta Ninfas, located about 70 km from Puerto Madryn, is your destination today. The major highlights include Punta Ninfas lighthouse perching in the southern end of the mouth of the Golfo Nuevo, the nearby beaches that offer the habitat for Elephant seals, and El Pedral which is an authentic Patagonian estancia built at the beginning of the 20th century. You can walk a short distance to the seashore, where is the colony for the cute Magellanic penguins. Lunch will be served in the estancia.

Day 11: Puerto Madryn - Trelew - Buenos Aires
After several days' adventure, you will head to the airport in Trelew and then fly to Buenos Aires today. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is left for you to roam around the squares feeling about the exotic ambiance or relax in the hotel.
